Poor wifi and gps signal. Average camera and battery life. I hate those on screen virtual buttons. Great cpu and gpu. Good phone if you can get it over play store, otherwise it is not worth the money. Better wait for MWC14, there will be some much better devices for similar price point.

I have a gnex and it has served me well for almost two years. One thing i love about it is it's replaceable battery. i purposely did not upgrade to nexus 4 as i found it insulting that google launched a supposed improvement to the gnex featuring an 8gig variant (n4). In addition to that, the n4 feautured a non-replaceable battery and the same screen size, so i felt a newer nexus phone is not yet necessary. I was sure to buy an N5, non-replaceable batt not withstanding, as my second phone, as google finally put out a nexus with adequate storage space, and a better screen. But now this. google wont be updating the gnex,, and they are using the TI OMAP processor as a lame excuse. I also own a nexus 7 and was contemplating on upgrading to the 2013 edition along with the n5 this coming shopping season. But now that google has abandoned the gnex.. I think im off to the iphone5c and the ipad mini, their both affordable. Or perhaps try the new windows phones and tablets. Im betting they'll support their old products with updates. Bye bye google. I had fun. but for now, you've lost your credibility to me as well as to the thousands of others who bought your nexus phones on the promise of timely updates. congratulations on the name kitkat, im sure you earned bazzillions from the candy maker.. too bad ur not willing to spend a miniscule fraction of it to support the updates for the old nexus phones.

Yes it has TV-out (Display out) via SlimPort rather than MHL. Both USB-Display but MHL, the more common USB-video out, is not compatible with the Nexus 5. You need a Slimport USB adapter.

Coming from a Note 2, I'm not too happy about the battery on the N5. Although, Nexus did a great job this time with the battery usage when idling, the screen drains too much battery when on. Medium usage you will not last the whole day.

The screen is one of the best I've seen. Crystal clear and sharp which makes my Note 2 look bad. But the downside is the battery drain. If the phone has a 3,000mAH battery, it will probably last a day with this screen. 2,300mAH is just too little. Screen on + gaming, you won't last long.

The feel of the phone is really good IMO. Not plastic feel like the Galaxy phones.

I will say though that for this price, this phone is hard to beat. Add in better camera and bigger battery, you get into LG2, Z1, S4 price range. But for me, lasting a whole day is big for me so I'll be sticking with my note 2.
