well its another crappy phone from LG..i wonder how long will LG make google phones??the regulator/pwm circuitry is the same old crappy and leaky one used on the Nexus 4 days..earpiece issue is still present on some batches..the only notable feature is the Snapdragon 800 chip and the Display..though as usual Google did not even tried calibrating the Display to its fullest potential..

Anything near or more than a 40h battery endurance rating should do well for this phone

The review should come out in the next 4 days, fyi gsmarena don't get phones from the sky, they buy the phone from the market, and then have to put many tests on the phone before they can give the review

The price is cheap most likely because it doesn't have a memory card slot, and not sure why they would do this.

I'm one of the lucky owner of the Nexus 5 and it blows away everything I have seen so far on Android Phones. Coming from a now ageing and bloated Samsung S3 this phone has reconciled me with Android. Seeing my Friend's Iphone 5 and 5S i was considering switching to Apple although i don't like their premium/closed approach to customer service.
In my opinion Android 4.4 KitKat on the Nexus 5 offers a user experience as polished as on a last generation Iphone but with more screen real estate. The 1080 HD screen resolution is also fantastic, my eyes are not that good and i was still struck by how much sharper everything appeared on the screen compared to my 720 HD screen on the S3, this can also be due to the Samsung "pentile" technology. I am even surprising myself reading ebooks and looking at standard webpages from my phone without feeling the urge to run to my 27" inch desktop.
Everything runs blazingly fast and the transition animations are just pure pleasure to look at, i can't get tired of it. They are not too visible but make screen transitions just more smooth and natural. In the end this is what we want from an operating system, apart from programmers, we don't want to work with it or we don't even want to notice it's there. We just want it to allow us to do what we have to do without getting in the way.

                                Now on the downsides/
-the speaker is indeed too quiet and of poor quality, and when i hold my phone in landscape mode to play games (the natural way to hold the phone) I just have my fingers blocking the only available speaker but this is a trade off i'm willing to accept to have the smoothest android phone that has ever existed to this day.
-i was surprised to notice the Nexus 5 heating up when running plant vs zombies 2. I will blame this on poor optimization to Android 4.4.
-the battery life is indeed very poor, i guess having a 2.3 GHZ quadcore processor, a 4.95 inches @ 1080 resolution with a 4G LTE antenna does not bind well with a 2300 mah battery :'( and this cannot be improved since the battery is not removable. This is my biggest grief with the Nexus 5; I just wish I could use it longer before having to run to the charger.

There is article says that the nexus 5 is cheap because it’s made of low quality material, is that true??? And did anyone see the drop test for the nexus 5??? You will think it’s true after you see the video test.

That's why I'm sticking with my RAZR Maxx and thinking of getting a Droid Maxx. I have used Sony, Samsung, HTC, Motorola, almost all and I must say among all those big guns, Motorola is the best. But then this is my personal opinion.
