Absolute crap! Battery standby is excellent now in android 5.1 and ram issue seems to be gone. Perhaps you should just stick to OTA updates instead of talking bs about an excellent phone.

With KitKat it was still giving some 7... moreWhile uploading my nexus 5 to android 5.1 it came error n I lost all data in phone n got it corrected in service center.. Again I updated to 5.1 it was fine for 3 days.. Now it's switching off switching on n showing as android s updating.. M so irritated.. Do solve this problem soon

Battery is horrible. With KitKat it was still giving some 7-8 hours. With lollipop it just dies within 5 hours. Phone randomly restarts after every couple of hours. And suddenly I see my phone restarting and all my apps starts optimizing, which takes atleast 10-15 minutes...so i'm stuck atleast 5-6 times a day due to this ill developed prototype phone !!!

It is of low quality build. After couple of months I've got dust under the glass and there is no way to remove it, unless it is ok to "deface" the phone. After almost a year of usage I can not get used to the weird sound of the in-call speaker.
And finally after all the updates the camera still crushes and every time I have to restart the phone to fix it.

display- crisp and clear ... Viewing angles are best ... color production awesome ...
Battery - good ... average ... full 12 hours
Performance- lightning fast .. no lag or glitches .
Camera - whether it have 8Mp snapper but clarity is Best .. just best ... OIS Is Best advantage . Best Camera you'll definitely love it .

I think the Nexus LG 5 is the best. They did so many improvements to this phone. But why not fix the camera. Everything an update comes out, it says features will be better. Well, everything is already better, but why not fix the camera. I have to shut my phone off every time in order for the camera to work. You guys think you can create best products, true I agree. But why not fix just one little camera. I mean for god sake, please fix the camera. I don't need you yo update my messager or the screen layout. All I want is the camera to be fixed and then I will consider you guys as the bestbestrtphone developers. So.please fix it!!!!!!!!!!!

I baught nexus 5 1 month ago..but i face some problems in phone i.e.;when i open opera mini or other application after some time he've closed automatically.I click menu bar but my application is not showing at that time he showing after some time..Pl suggest what should i do???

Assure, 10 Apr 2015Dear Srk1 what do you mean by flash, master reset, factory ... morewhen i said flash, i meant flash factory image, this will delete all your data and its kind of complicated, but gets easy the more time you do it.
First read all of this so you dont get confused!

first you need to scrool down and find "hammerhead" for Nexus 5 and there you will see LMY47I and click the blue Link
here is the SDK Menager download. you will need that!

I will leave you link to 2 youtube videos, i followed instructions from the guy, listen very carefully!
1st video is for google drivers that are necessary

Here are the commands for the command prompts you will also need (use these commands from the point guy in the 2nd video starts typing adb devices, come here and type in this order i wrote):
adb devices
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem unlock
flash-all
when you flash sucessfully and android boots up normally you will need to lock oem and here are commands:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem lock
then just use volume keys and turn off the device!
Thats it, dont worry, first time i did this it took me 4 hours and i was confused. Get your thoughts together first and start doing this!

Done everything practical, even technician don't under stand same sim working n another phone. No sim connects to its carrier. I am fooled cant receive or call anybody. Before it was ok, since a year, updated asap.Anybody in damm world can help me. Sure I know its not a hardware problem,but sofware one or some settings disturbed. Com on why we are here to assist each other.Regards

i have had lg nexus for a year now. its a perfect phone! u know that phones arent to play for right?? u expect from a tiny device to hold on the battery for ages? i am using it at all times and the battery is fine! in fact it happened to me to make 2 days to charge it! i prefer this phone of google rather than any other phone, like samsung s5 or s4..

I baught befor 10 days.phone is heating and battery is worst.before i use z3 compact,its realy more better.when i go to service center,they are ready to chang pcb,but 10 day old phone in service center for pcb....not expect to google and lg.worst experience.
