Update edge, has also a bad effect, after a major nxt version 4 to 5,rest .01 to 5.5.5 is a tell tale, never battery or hardware every improve, it's just physiological. I have noted in past series from 2 to 5.
Don't get bluffed n this Stigma.

I am not getting update i am still in 4.4.4 build number ktu84q ...... Wat shud i do .....i saw nexus phones getting update ...y not for me ....suggest please, some1 has posted to do reset the phone, did any1 tried that, and if tired did they get the update, does rest delete all the stuff from the phone, please suggest.

5.0.1 rocks!!
I received the update at 8 am and I've had the brightness to the max with WiFi and 3g on.its currently 11:50 pm and the battery is at 38℅
great job Google.

actualy my battery performance really improved with latest 5.0.1 update, with normal use for calls, maybe half hour of clash of clans, facebook and similar, I got a full day.

It's a strange rollout isn't it? I live in the UK as well and got the update 48 hours ago.
Anyway, I used my spare (S4) phone all day yesterday and left my N5 on idle for 24 hours to test the battery drain with 5.0.1, and the battery has only dropped 11%.
