My nexus 5x randomly restart. its come to google logo thn restart everytime. Any ideas plz.

Has these issues of bootloop, poor/so-so battery life + various wifi/bluetooth issues been resolved with the latest Nougat 7.1.1 & 7.1.2? And are the Nexus phones (including the 6P) safe in a bit of light rain or splashes of water?

brother my phone was always updated too after years and 10 days get the problem... i hope that nothing happens to your phone... but probably all the nexus 5x will suffer of this...

Ins't it the bootloop already fixed if you update it to the last version? i'm also have this phone but its fine for me until right now (mine always updated). it is, the phone happened won't boot at all once or twice long ago but it works again after i left it while just like that and let it reboot again later no big deal because maybe it's my fault. still work until now of more than 1 year usage. i believe many people use it rough if you get hardware problem (or maybe because weather too).
the phone yes have easy heated issue but mine is fine even though it heated quite often because i used it rough several times. but why so many people have negative issue with this? o_o?

Worst phone ever. Not worth the money at all!! Within 6 months of usage the motherboard got screwed. As it was under warranty got it serviced for free. Then within next 1 year phone is dead, motherboard is gone again. 10k for the repair. Not repairing it. Selling it as scarp. Recently repaired the screen paying 7k. All for a waste. Very much frustrated.

After one year of using the phone it become dead, I think the motherboard burnt. My friend had the same problem with Nexus 5X, after more than one year of using it also the motherboard burnt.

Overall this is a good gadget for 1 year. I owned it for 1 yr 6 mths
Pros:
Camera, type C usb, phone audio quality, ease of use
Cons:
some unexpected resets, speaker sound quality, speaker not working in 1 yr and 5 mths (push the screen and back cover around the bottom and recovers). Mainboard dead, stuck in boot loop.

as long as you don't update this phone and don't play games you will enjoy it. i personally love the hardware, software on the nexus. the only thing i hate is that the battery life and the heating issues. my nexus lasted for 8 months and died thanks to the famous boot loop issue. i went to the place where i got it to get it fixed and heard a very shocking news. they said that there is no permanent fix and all the nexuses they sold were returned having the same boot loop issue. its simply a waste of money as a final verdict if u really love pure android go for it but, never update or stress the phone too much.

Loved this phone when I first got it in 2015 but its youth is long gone now. Uses 50% battery by the end of the day without even being on.

Very good smartphone till now after 18 months and also the bootloop but within the warranty period of 2 year.

I bought it on May last year, it was good, until yesterday suddenly it started to bootloop. I'm really disappointed with lg!

A little more than a year after I bought it, it fails with the boot loop. Really ugly and common issue, I have been not able to fix it
