the phone is not that back, actually it's pretty good, the 2.2 froyo doesn't fit well in it, so you guys really should try the CM7 or any custom roms. I was all "ohh this crappy phone, holy dual core, what the heck was that freezing etc etc" but now i`m all "wooow, we're almost flying o2x :) sweet mother of jesus"

Tushar, 20 Dec 2011Thanks for your reply Swapnil. I have tried MObo player too... moreoptimus 2x will play choppy 1080p videos.U will not be able to enjoy it.So the best it can handle is 720p.

This phone is 2x the worst phone i ever use. even without using it overnite batt drain out very fast , and the phone hangs easily. internet search gets slower everytime u use it. not recomend to buy big regret.

I am confused b/w two ch... moreI am using Optimus 2x for about 3 months and i am really happy with my phone.Obviously its better than Neo v that is single core,less mp camera,low internal storage,small screen as compared to Lg Optimus 2x.Now its upto you to choose b/w 2x or neo.If i were you i will go for 2x.

why is it my RAM's reading was only a total of 256? and i thought this handset's RAM is 512?

Hi, I want to buy a android phone. I am confused b/w two choices...xperia neo V and optimus 2x. optimus has superb hardware but i am not sure that its software is stable. Can someone give review about its touch response and does it fully utilizes the dual core, is it leggy and takes time to open apps etc. Basically i want to know how fast is it compared to neo V (about which i heard has good response time). I really wanted to go for it because of good hardware but again if software do not uses the hardware fully then there is no point of buying it. Thanks in advance

I've already upgraded my O2X to gingerbread v2.3.4.Now i'm very satisfied with this phone. It now becomes more stable, no lag at all, smooth, more responsive. The only i regret is about that RAM that still at 512mb, too little for a dual core phone and big memory, i think. And also about the battery life, when i used it for browsing or any internet activities, it drained so fast..other case its stand by time seems good enough..can i use any different battery (still LG genuine but different type)?
