the phone fast nice put LG need support quickly

On what does it depend it the update available OTA? Is it available for all countries if I don't insist on getting it OTA and how is it installed then?

Got tired of waiting for this so called GB update....it keeps being pushed further with every month that passes. Other manufacturers are so busy working on ICS while LG are still yet to release GB. Poor customer supprot is what i call it. You entice customers with the product but you forget the customer in a flash. Short memory. I decided CM7.1. It works a charm, so much improved battery life, revamped camera interface, such quicker reboot than the 2.2 froyo (30 seconds and your phone is up and running), ability to customize the camera such that the volume buttons can be used as camera shutter(more stable photos of course), super fast menu navigation and app launching! Damn! I love my optimus, its now a real beast!

bt still except ergonomics its better than s2!! i didnt like the samoled + at all!!! might eat less battery bt 2x screen is amazing

I went to the lg webside to downoad GB as promised get again to be let down the latest download was a variation of the existing froyo but now is 2.2 vd worse as was it has affeted my battery and the browser langnage is not recognisable

To upgrade GB, pl go to lg.com, select mobile phones, then select s/w update. then follow the instructions to upgrade GB. its very easy, try it

I'm from Spain and I have just updated my LG with the official Rom. Now I have 2.3.4 and the LGE version LGP990-V20I. I have updated it with the LG Update Program. I feel it smoother and faster.
