You won't know how good or bad it is, and there should be a model that leads the way to a better society and better improvements. Eventhough this Optimus 3D would be unattractive than the ones that would be announced in 2 or 3 years, this model has brought our Technology to a advanced level.
There is no good or bad in this model. This has shown how much LG is putting effort to our technology.

jack, 04 Apr 2011I dont think that 3d technology of this is already an inch ... morebut its 3D screen is made by the same company making Nintendo's 3DS.
& no matter how long you wait, 6 months is all that it takes to make any mobile look from the stone age.
& how many 3D cameras are out there in the market? if you wait now , its probably going to be a long one.

Dual Core?even you put core I7 on cellphone still webbrowsing is not a breeze because of small screen. Cellphone is just for voice call and texting so we do not need 3D or any other thing.

The very first 3d phone. But they are commanding a very high price. Sorry nobody will bite your Gimmick.

I dont think that 3d technology of this is already an inch to perfection being the first 3d screen they are still in the process of experimenting. We should wait for another model to come and you will see hundreds of improvement in terms of 3d screen and viewing.

I thought this would be my next phone, but the LG Speed/2x has some serious problems with build quality (light leaks, dust under screen, scratches) and software (battery, reception, crashes) - I don't think it'll be better with the 3D, they're just not ready for the highend market yet.
Maybe the next batch of phones.

mech0r, 23 Mar 2011why did lg choose the sgx 540 and not the tegra 2 for this?... moreActually this one runs faster than the tegra 2 phones. LG made some of their own improvements into it so it is actually faster than LG Optimus 2X.

Th... moreactually in evo 3d only the clock is a little more and it can be much more (like in msm8660 1.5 G) and o3d can also be over clocked to those numbers, but those numbers won't make any different in real life when you have enough preforming power in both for loading data in a blinking and for available games to be played but what is important is universal decoding u got on OMAP4 and less power consuming that is going to make difference

The real competitor of this handset would be HTC evo 3D. The key difference is that LG Optimpus 3D has 8 gb internal memeory whereas HTC evo 3D only has 1 GB internal memory. However, HTC evo 3D has a faster CPU. Both handsets can expand memory by inserting the micro SD card, so the size of internal memory would not make much difference. I personally would prefer HTC evo 3D instead.
