I have 4x and... morefirst thing to try is removing the battery and reinserting it.
sometimes android just reads/displays wrong values for some reason and after reinserting or simply rebooting the phone it shows different values.
sad thing is android disables itself on low values and if the values are wrong it might turn the phone off at 35% thinking its on 5%
other then installing watchdog and leaving it run for a day (dont use the phone for apps to get correct values) i cant see any other solutions.
im currently trying to investigate this issues in my tablet which is also a bit battery crazy if i find something out ill post it here for sure.

To be truth, this phone has better facilities for users than Optimus G or Nexus 4.
could be consider as the best LG smartphone model of 2012.

I have 4x and I never knows what is going on with my battery yesterday I charged my battery after 35h.and still had 32% of battery(light use)but someday it lasts only 10h.of light use I don't play games and only running stock software.(only opera mobile,chrome and watchdog)I installed wachdog to keep an eye on running programs but it finds nothing.thank you for the adwise about the camera I think it is better now :)

Saucy, 17 Nov 2012 Oops , Audio quality is very disappointing to the ears.Man, install Beats Audio driver and you'll be more or less in chocolate!
I have also been initially disappointed with sound, but this driver has improved sound quality - basses and vocal.
But anyway, it's not a Wolfson audiochip, it's some MAXblablabla, so do not expect much... ;)
Try to focus on positive things, like the screen's quality... ;)

i have it, its actually not as great as s3 or one x, but i love it, quality design amazing processor, the battery great if u turn of connection and turn in on if needed, i can take 19hours 55minutes with that way which i sleep 7hours but i didnt turn off my phone and let it stand by, which i played many games like chaos rings, etc. but if you have money and money not a problem then i will say go for s3. i buy this phone 5.000.000 with leather case and screen protector in packet with s3 have 7.000.000 price in my country without case and screen protecror. so i buy optimus 4x of course and i didnt feel guilty. i love my phone.

Really ! very stupid LG company.
instead of giving strong support to their own Optimus 4X series......
fallen into the Google deep trap, spoiling all their current smartphone marketing strategy.

I have an Optimus 4X HD and am very pleased! He is perfect! Ja compared with the S3 and the device was superior in terms of graphics, design and processing!

Odessa, 16 Nov 2012 Very good features but public still afraid of LG smartpho... moresadly its true but based on nothing really.
the phone is great even if it never recieves 4.1 and the same goes for the 2x speed its a great phone even with 2.3.3.
and people forget that hTC had a desire they never upgraded to 4.0 because they couldnt be bothered and samsung had a entire series at the beginning of android that was plain rubbish.
and nokia is still plain rubbish with there symbian phones.
and blackberry has its own issues witht he os.
but for some reason people seem to only remember and bitch about the LG 2x speed.
selective memory or maby they are just jealous they bought a more expencive phone all the time with lesser hardware specs and butch at lg because they are jealous.

lg lover, 14 Nov 2012Hai pino.i would like to have ur opinion,coz it seems like ... more-the L9 seems to be way to expencive for what you get.
-the 4x hd is lovely and tested for a while now by loads of people and theres little issues with it.
and this phone might soon become a lot cheaper due to the optimus G and the nexus 4 coming out.
-the optimus G is my new faforite due to design being beter then the nexus 4 (round edges arent my thing) but its new and we dont know what issues miht arrise.
on the plus its faster then the 4x and they got rid of the nvidia soc which is a plus as it causes defs to much issues with creating apps.
the nexus 4 seems to have the advantage that its cheap when bought trough the google store.
and the same as the optimus G there is no knowing what issues will or may arrise in this phone.
the optimus G and the nexus 4 arent released worldwide tho so its depending on where you live if they will be availeble to you.
so if you can wait a bit id say wait a bit and see if the 4x price does drop otherwise its really up to you.
i think they are all 3 just fine phones but 2 of them have the little bit of unsecurity if they will be flawless software wise.

iwould like to be tho as i would tell lg to communicate more and say what they are working on and what they are not working on.
as communicating is 1 thing lg needs to learn.

camera is fine. audio issues seem to affect some people but most dont see the issue so maby a error in production on some line noone will ever know.

The 4x has the poorest battery management and that is understandable cos it's a running on tegra chipset...otherwise it's a perfect phone. Opt.G, likely will offer a bit more enhanced battery management and camera and so added speed which isn't relevant at all, Other aspects remain the same
Now the nexus4 is like a fresh boy so wil do better than the 4x in most aspects like sound quality, battery management, speed and some added ram of 2gig.
The L9 is the most efficient, cheapest among them all cos it's a dualcore phone Moreover it is very Fast, and built to handle those menial tasks like calls, browsing, watching videos, music and even lots more.
But if you stil eye the quadcore devices i'd suggest nexus4 as it's way cheaper than opt.G and the 4x.
