I know it is unofficial update but it really worth it .
And what can i do since I cannot wait for LG update because it seems the jelly bean update will be in 2022 ..
Now i feel my phone became more smoother, the battery last longer and browsing became faster .
My 4x is become awesome , But sadly, i lost the warrinty. Which i don't care about that XD

I suggest not buying this phone as it is the successor of the lg optimus 2x(which is the one I own) because knowing lg's history it will never receive an update. In fact I suggest to avoid lg products as a whole, except the lg nexus maybe due to google being the one who updates it.

arun, 03 Nov 2012lg optimus 4x hd...........super........no more talk.....my... moreI have been using 4x since a month...im really satisfied with its multi tasking...and the Original colors.......amoled got fake resolution but this gadget got perfect contrast.....n what say about the camera,it utilise fone's quadcore tech and provide quick snaps...what else v need pals hmmm?...apart from it it got evrything what other hi end gadgets got....and the gud thing in is the screenshot mode....click the lower vol button and restart button together v can take screenshot......conclusion is its one of the perfect engneering till date :).....

While Using the gps on this phone are you guys getting a gps lock quickly... It's taking around 30 mins to get gps lock on this phone.... Please help me what's the issue

If you waiting for JB 4.2, better not.

its stilly phones still have a speaker on the back but we have to work arround that i guess.

Is ther a way to increase the ringtone and the notification sounds more ?? I feel that the sound is very low and I can't hear the ringtone while I am asleep or when the phone is in the next room ??

parag majithia, 05 Nov 2012I m using this ph since last month. I. Personally Found. th... moreas stated may times you are either a above average user (lots of gaming and browsing) at which 4 to 6 hours is normal.
or you battery is broken or badly calibrated in these last 2 cases you need to contact lg as i have no solution for that.
another issue might be poor 3g or wifi signal which might drain your battery really fast or a badd app that keeps cores active or prevents deep sleep which drains the battery.
on normal use the phone should make 36 hours withoutto much issues (no gaming little browsing and average whatsapp use).

also check if your phone memory isnt getting full(the 1 gb part not the 12+ gb part).
if this is the case try moving as much app data to the sd as possible.
this can be done in settings>apps>manualy for each specific app to download a version of app2sd.
another issue can be a running app so you can try disabling all running apps 1 by 1 and see if the problem disapears.

Its been 3 months i bought this mobile... now wake up time has increased considerably and phone lags slightly when using internet and during gaming.

i have over the past 20 pages given ALL the possible information needed yet people like you failto read the facts and talk arround reality.
i cannot give you examples why 4.1 is not better because if you would have read my comments you would have noticed there is nothing significantly changed in ot other then a fixed fps which in my opinion/logics is a bad thing due to battery drain.
thats all theres nothing more to it the rest are all facts speaking for itself.
it needs no explanation as the facts are all there for the people that are actualy willing to see them.
andim nog a LG fanboy if it was up to me i would have a sony phone but itits not my fault they make out of date hardware for more then the price of the lg.
so lg is just the logical choice but the experia T or experia ion are my preferedphones if it was up to me (brand and looks wise).
but sony makes phones with out of date soc's out of date resolutions lower memory lower battery duration so why should i buy there roducts.
just like one x is bad because there is o replacible battery or extended memory and samsug is just samsung i wont use there products torely on if i got them for free as i had 12 products of them over the past 10 years and every single samsung products i owned had a hardware flaw or software flaw that didnt ever get fixed.
so its just using the brain googling and coming to the right decsion.
and you accusing me of being a fanboy with you posting several times and not ONCE being able to mention why 4.1 is so verry important makes me thing your just here to bash LG because you can which is kinda sad.
if not come with proper reasoning why 4.1 is important utill then your comments arent worth reading.
