hmm i am using the phone all is -almost great. software is a bit different than what i had been using with my SG II. in LG i can't find the file explorer. anyone with info can tell me. i downloaded astro file manager but would like to see one built in from LG software team. phone is fast. internet APN setting was fluid. the screen to screen is instant. email setting (yahoo) was awesome without any issues. FIND me FILE MANAGER please. battery took a long time to charge say 6 hours or so at full. otherwise its a great phone. i do not regret. i got mine for $580 so still 80 dollars cheaper than SG. i recommend this if you like the design.

i just mine got delivered today have not had a chance to play with it. i got it from NEGRI Electronics in the US for $580 USD. i will post my comments after the use but i had all new phones before and must say SG III is down right ugly i played with it because my b-inlaw has it. i bought this based on design not so much performance but will find out this evening.

lg 4x hd is the best performer among the three quadcore topnotch er phones at this time.
lg did the best mobile today , and they will do much more better in the future.

it's more ... morei fully agree.
i dislike the new way the oversaturated displays and contend looks.
if the only flaw of the lg is the focus (wich can b solved by getting another app theres tonns in the store for free) it has verry minor issues.
one x and samsung have bigger issues to worry about!

I will never buy an LG mobile again, just a pretty toy with a very weak performance and diaster after market service, Never buy from a company that produces everything from soap to vacume cleaner and mobile as well!
The right choice could be find between, HTC, motorola, Nokia and Sony.

I'm hoping to buy this phone. But there is a news coming from LG they hope to launch a new quad core phone named L9 in this September. I think that'll be better than optimus 4x also it has 10 or more magapixel camera. I think I must wait unroll released that.

but for my own hand experience.
I own both lg 4x and also sgs3.
What i found is lg is more better in many things over sgs3.
1 Better design. more compact hardware. good looking phone.
2better battery life.
Better Display.
Better to play games.
3 More responsive and smoother screen.

most of those sites are bias. Most of them making samsung s3 or iphone 4s to be more popular
they always gave a very low scores for lg phones.
for example we all knew that lg optimus l3. Is more better than samsung galaxy Y.
but they gave. a higher score to samsung galaxy Y. over LG L3.
LG 4X is super faster than s3.
Soon or later people will realise it.
