Hello, i using this phone for about 3 months, i am totaly happy, camera without any camera issues and day ago updated software to "V20A Official Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean" from stock 4.0.3, and got auto-focus issue, well i can go back with official software, or jsut change video capturing app. well but this phone amazing for me :)

I really think that that this is the best phone in the 250€ range; great specs sheet and awesome comunity support for custom roms; but I'm really loosing it over battery life. this thing is a beast eating battery. even running custom kernel undeclocked at 1200Mhz it still drains way to fast

The o4x runs very well with ics, but when i upgrade to 4.1.2, the phone turns very laggy. The solutios was install a cyanogen rom (cm 10.1.3), whit this rom the phone comeback and its turns very fast and responsive, almost to the same level of my note 2.
Battery life is average.

any one how had this phone pleas an... morethe S3 is brighter but it deos NOT have the same ppi even tho samsung claims so.
the S3's amoled screen had less pixels as it doesnt have 3 sub pixels per pixel and therefore is less sharp.
ontop of the lack of sharpness compared to the IPS screen of the 4x hd the samsungs amoled screen also is less colour accurate because of the lack of sub pixels in each pixel.
so screenwise the 4x hd defo is the better choice as its simply sharper and way more colour accurate.
look at this comparison and you will see every pixel on the S3 lacks 1 colour making it impossible to correctly display colours:

i compare its screen whit sIII i think sIII more clear am i right ?and why is this and both devices have the same ppi
is its camera good

Max, 19 Sep 2013@pino and @james,thanks for your replies,but i don't want t... morebattery life is slightly better (30 minutes use time) howevrr without rooting you can disable 2 cores on the 4x HD which gives you a aditional 30 to 45 minutes screen on time so it puts them on the same level.
and seeing noone uses cpu heavy tasks on phones anyway i think disabling the 2 cores is a must anyway.
the GPU handles most the heavy tashs in apps and games these dats (since 4.0) and disabling the 2 cpu cores doesnt affect gpu preformance.
only thing that might be better is gaming time as the gpu isnt as fast and doesnt eat as much power.
on the other hand it has a fixed battery where the 4x hd has a removable battery.
the optimus g also has 2gb ram but i dont think that will matter anytime soon anyway.
so they are pretty much the same battery wise and the biggest difference is the price.

@pino and @james,thanks for your replies,but i don't want to root because of the waranty,and becuse this is my first android and I never rooted a phone.Pino,do you know if optimus g has a better battery life,and is it better to add more money and buy optimus g.
