i would test this but it takes forever to drain the battery with several players hehe.


according tho this test you get a easy 4 hours 14 minutes with is a good score and about as good as it gets on any quad core:

so 2 full movies is doable for sure.

it should boost your video playback time to over 30 hours
most phones simply wont do beteter battery wise then this phone.
maby 5 or 10 minutes but theres no mirrables apart from foc the motorola razr maxx but thts a whole different phone.
lower resolution on a smaller screen with a dual core 1.2 ghz rater then a quad 1.5ghz plus the phone is fatter then the average mother in law.

    Pino I have 2. questions.for you. have you tried this program "SRS One-Click-Root Tool"I used it to root my samsung tab p7300 it was easy.
    Now I want to root my 4x.Is there any change of damage?
    I take risk whith my galaxy tab,but not with my 4x It has to be stable
    and have you tried this program."greenify"It sounds to good to be true.

      Camera was terrible before firmware update now it is bad only ! its photos quality is less that 5mp of others
      battery will die after less than one day of average usage
      charging time is long

        hey pino,can u tell me how much the battery would last if watching hd movies at 50% or 60% brightness?

          krassi, 14 Mar 2013Pino. Not so aggressive,this is his experience and everyone... moremeh you and i both know that this is utter bollox and that if his experience is so bad he either got a really bad sample of the phone wich is highly unlikely.
          or hes just a whiner expecting mirracles...
          and lets face it his post was just complaining and bitching not trying to find out whats wrong so it wasnt even constructive enough to be able to help.
          theres no place for that on the web if you ask me.


          i spend a lot of time trying to help people and that kind of people arent looking for help and infact i dont even think they own the phones 9 out of 10 times they just want to bitch because they cant afford it or payed to much for there iphones, htc one x or crappy galaxy s3.

          (and yeah the s3 was bad haha) even samsung is thinking it now seeing they are making a new version with a different screen :P

            or there is something with your provider or sim card.

            have you tried a friends simcard to see if that works?

            if another sim card works its clearly your phone if theother card of the same provider does the same its your provider.

            another thing you can try is manualy setting the network in the settings>network/more > mobile networks

            maby its picking up the worng network from tim to time and opfcourse you cant call on that network.
            so force it to choose the network your supposed to have.

            so theres a few things you can do let me know how it ends.

              I have factory defulted this phone every week as i don't have more than 5 apps. those apps existed in the phone for a long time. it would hang like this before but the problem was not this bad as it shuts off or hangs once a day. making it very annoying. otherwise it works fine.

              i buy all phones unlocked. i have had my wife's phone do the same thing. she is a very light user and she had to remove the battery and pop it back in.


              i think its more like a software issue than the hardware issue. without doing much diagnostics its impossible to find out. SD has nothing to do with it as both crash both run in north american ATT network and both have version 10E.

                if so have you recieved your provider settings for sending a text message ?

                if yout go to your profider webside you can often or find the settings there or you can let it send you a text message with the settings.
                some providers dont seem to di it automaticly.
                i didnt get it automaticly either but i was happy about that as i didnt want the wap settings in my phone anyway (verry expencive iinternet here as i dont yet have a bundel) :)

                if that doesnt work you gotta call your provider as they aare the only one that an give you the details you need.
                if the details are in the phone and it doesnt work the service might be ffline and once more thats for your provider to fix.

                not much else i can do for you from here sorry.

                  the price here ha dropped 15 euro in the past 2 weeks and still seems to be going down.
                  so if nothing pops up and you take the 4x anyway you might have saved enough money for a few screen protectors and a case :)

                          Pino, i've not been able to install the software you proposed me but ive seen that even if the signal bars on my phone are full, people calling me gets " your call did not go trhough". i therefore need to switch off and back on and its ok then. you think that its the phone or my sim card. note that with my ex sony ericsson xperia neo, this problem practically did not exist. do i need to go whre i bought it for complaints?

                              Already made a decision. Might as well wait a couple more weeks, something interesting might come up. Still looking for the perfect phone for me.

                                sunny, 14 Mar 2013my awesome phone now turns off 4 to five times a day. i wi... moreits hard to tell if this is a soft or hardware issue.
                                but the first things you can try if your rooted is make a full backup with a app like titanium backup. and do a factory reset and test it without installing the apps again to see if there is a recently installed ap thats causing the problem.

                                theres also a default backup app in the phone itself but i have no clue how good this functions and if it backups everything.

                                you can also sync with the pc but im not sure if thats gonna backup everything.

                                id do a combination of several just to be sure.

                                you can also try taking out the SD card just to make sure thats not causing the problem.

                                other then that problems like this are really hard to diagnose from a distance.

                                if it does it with factory settings you need to return it for warrnatee as something definitely got broken (most likely the cirquit board).

                                  brutal, 13 Mar 2013just another STUPID phone ! Battery issues, heating problem... morei am having the same problem. heating and turning off or simply turns off then its stuck screen is black but bottom navigation buttons are lit. some thing is going crazy lately on these sets. my set is only 3 mos old.

                                  any suggestions PINO?

                                    my awesome phone now turns off 4 to five times a day. i will be on the BT talking and phone has an LG symbol on the screen crash. i turn on google navigation and it crashes while its plugged in. now it just turns off intermittently. gosh now this is habit for last week. i have to remove battery and turn the phone on. this is more relevant in last 3 weeks and is becoming annoying.

                                    Any help? suggestions? Thank you.

                                      so yes you can get even better sound the stock headphones are always rubbish on almost all products.
                                      and the stock player isnt optimal but theres tonns of music plyers outthere on the play store.
                                      just take a few songs (some with bass some with treble some mixed) and test which app produces the kind of sound you like most.

                                      as for headphones i guess thats harder as you cant go buy all of them and keep the best hehe so google some revieuws from the real audio nerds of this planet and get a good set.

                                        Hi,

                                        I am using the phone by the past 6 months... i am very much satisfied with all the aspects... Good performance... no lags.. decent audio quality...

                                        Battery performance also decent... Those people who are worrying about battery quality, you cant expect even this battery performance with other high end phones..


                                        Pino... one small query.... can the sound quality of the headset can be increased if we use beats headset other than the default headset provided?
