but its a average dual core not a high end quad core.
and it also has only 8gb rom space for apps minus room for android most likely so 5.1 gb in reality which is just low.

some dev might take it out of the rom frmo the optimus g and make a rom for the 4x with it.
thats the fin thing of a unlocked bootloader theres endless posibilities it just requires verry good devs.
but the biggest advantage is say android 5.0 comes later this year and lg had no intention of updating the phone some dev can make us a 5.0 rom for the 4x hd.

On the other hand, i seriously think the new f7 will have a better battery and as well other improvements than this phone such 2g ram. Guys better wait until lg announces new phones on monday so u dont blame urself for making hasty decision. I luv that f7 like wow.

Got my lg optimus 4x hd yesterday. So far so good. No lags. Battery comsumption is acceptable. Screen display just nice. Thickness slim. Worth buying . And i got the last one! Hehehe

of or if someone makes a stock android rom you can use that wihtout all the 3rd party apps.
but for me custom roms are worthless as they always have some feature that isnt working like bluetooth ot wifi direct or nfc or the sd card slot.
this is manly due to not having the drivers for the hardware if say lg gives that all to the dev community there will be verry interesting roms outthere with better kernels speed and battery duration.

AnonD-106365, 22 Feb 2013price is my issue,i was bit scared about heating issue now ... morethere certainly are no hardware faults and software is verry stable.
sure there are some things they could have done different but theres compromised in every brands rom and fro my experience this is the fastest rom out there and its solid as a rock i tried to make it crash but disabling stuff and killing the launcher all the time (this kills my tablet hehe) but its will not crash.

Cilno, 21 Feb 2013People, I loaded my phone on Monday and I´m still wit... moreindeed i have wifi always on and i average 2 days 10 hours with in that time 4 hours 20 min use time (so screen on and using apps/browser/movies/chatting).
people just need to stop playing 3 hours of movies or play a game for 2 hours its a phone not a laptop or pc its not made for that.

People, I loaded my phone on Monday and I´m still with 49% in the battery, I spent 30% on Tuesday and the phone don t make me down yet... But I want to point out that I am using the phone on 2G, but contrary to what GSMArena said the battery is very very good.

AnonD-106365, 21 Feb 2013im nt a lg lover i need good quality phone so i can use it ... morewel without my personal opinion for the price there is no phone thats even near the lg 4x HD.
if price isnt a issue theres better phones or certainly better hpones coming in the near future. expect some sick phones to bbe released in the next 4 months.
but also expect to pay atleast 550 euro for those phones which is almost double the price and its not yet known if they have hardware/software issues while its known the LG 4x HD is bugfree at this point(v10H.
so if this the screen size you want dont mind some warm spot on your phone (which is gonne be the future btw as tey only get more powerfull) and want some of the highest storage space on the phone (up to 64 gb sd) and arent one of those JB whiners this is the phone to look at.
its supersmooth JB wont improve that its fast and snappy and lasts longer then the one x with normal use.
but the biggest plus remains the price.
