I thought it was problem with pixels but the service centar changed its screen and dots didnt move, i dont know what to think now. I think they are the particles of dust that are glowing because of screen lightning.

After long hesitation and confusion finally I bought this Mobile today ..I can not tell you what I think for now, but my first impression ..It is a nice Mobile,,, very good camera, call quality is also good, though the sound somewhat tinny but clear ..Screen more than impressive and Mobile itself is very stylish ..I have chosen my P880 instead of Xperia Acro S Or ion and also instead of Galaxy NOTE1, and Galaxy S 2 ..Overall I am happy I did ..Keep one thing on LG attention to its customers and keep up with other companies in the customer interest

i don't know how but after 4 month of usage my mobile got some dust under its screen. it is really an annoying issue.
has someone else face this damn problem?

no need to upgrade lah just buy a new phone every year updated.upgrade is wasting ur time u only can upgrde to jb or maybe KLP n then stuck with that. if u buy a new phone it ready preinstall with latest vrsion n that what i do every year i change my phone n aftr a year i sell half or below half price it smple as that n i enjoy using it no coment cos i will sell n buy again n again n againnn

pino, 09 Feb 2013dude did you even read the last pages? its bin said hundre... morehy bro i totly agree with u i never thought about jb..but lg shoud upgrade phon software as some bugs alws got fix. and u r totly right about that after upgradng in jb may be phon perfomenc goes down as before 4x hd i was using lg optimus one its come with froyo os and work great and after i got upgrade to gingerbird and then ma phon perfomenc went down and bettry also draind fast.

Anyone who says that his/her Optimus 2X got screwed over, here is a fitting response from LG for them.
"During the second quarter of 2012 upgrades will begin for the following smartphone models: the LG Optimus LTE, Prada phone by LG 3.0, the LG Optimus 2X, the LG Optimus Sol, the LG my Touch Q and the LG Eclipse. These upgrades will be followed by upgrades for the following smartphone models during the third quarter of 2012: the LG Optimus 3D, the LG Optimus Black, the LG Optimus Big, the LG Optimus Q2 and the LG Optimus EX."

but ask yourself this why would you need it.
it offers NOTHING new it wont make your phone smoother as its already supersmooth it wont get faster as more features meens more memory hogging means less ram availeble forcing more fps to render means more cpu time needed meaning more power usage for the same action meaning lower battery life.
i dont get why people cry for JB like its the god fo all operating systems.
the only thing it does is compensate for crappy rom makers that cant make smooth roms.
but seeing this rom is as smooth as it can be it might be a downgrade rather then a upgrade.
think twice before installing JB.
wait for benchmarks wait gfor battery reports.
wait for free memory reports.
or you might shoot yourself in the foot and slowing your device down and drain your battery without any benefit.

Can some1 give me some tips how to increes battery life i just get this pohne its amazing but battery is :@...android system draining 50% of my battery ( unistal and siband some app ) but same problem pls help

i ws using s3 for the last couple of months Nd nw got my wife a 4x. and i am quite happy with the phone they have given me in tht price.
first of all, it is really fast. i ran quadrant and it ws at par wth s3 and faster than one x. secondly, it is smooth even without a jb update. personally, i dnt care abt the update much. i liked my s3 more b4 the update. the updTe didnt add any xtra feature. but sumhow my s3 started freezing and restarting more than evr. anyway...
abt the sound... optimus hd in its highest volume does tend to squeak a little (both in loud speeaker and in-call). but take my word for it... u can live with it and live with it alright. and probably, u wldnt even notice it if there ws nt so much critisism abt its sound quality. as far as i am concerned, i am quite happy with it since i know how crappy sound quality can really be (i hav used xperia x10 for last three years). so guys who want to buy this admirable phone but putting it off after hearing tht it has bad sound quality, dont. its better than many out thr.
the screen is great and colors, though not as vibrant and touch as responsive as the s3 is, can still take ur breadth away. but yes, it attracts a lot of smudges. dnt understand why since both s3 and 4x hd have gorrilla. s3 attracts no smudges whtsoever but 4x does. this is the only drawback i have found out.

I need an a... moreI chose this phone over a lot of other phones including Lumia series. For its price, it is really the best choice. Nokia Lumia, without a contract, costs a lot more, almost close to double the price.
Only place where Nokia Lumia truly outshines, is the build and looks, and Camera. Software is questionable as the basic apps also are very commonly complained to be unfinished. I did want to buy it, but WP8 ecosystem needs more quality developers.
As for my 2 day ownership report, I find the screen great, battery is still getting there, speaker isn't that bad as people will make it out to be, and does everything pretty well. Can't ask for more from a phone. It's just a phone and they will keep getting better every year.
