i dont undrstand what u all poblm ask that n ask this speker volume,cmera,batery n etc.if me i will buy this phone if it was beauty n price is woWw amazing bargain.i hve exprence with 4 Droid phone so it not bad i pay 4 what i get n i will no cmplen about it n u must know after 3 n 4 months another new phone release with bcame smart n smarter high spec n this 4xhd n n sgs3 n iphon5 bcame low end in front of d new....hope undrstand tq

Screen of my #Optimus4x cracked when 4x was in pocket on third day of using phone. I do not understand, What kind of screens LG builds?

kashem, 08 Feb 2013as per specification battery life is very good. talk time m... moreinstall watchdog somethig is obviously draining your battery.
you should easely get 7 days standby on idle with wifi on (no usage.)
in the battery menu you should look at screen on time you should get 3,5 to 5 hours there without gaming and not using apps that use adds (adds drain battery).
it can havven display wont show up in the battery stats if thats the casetheres a alternative.
take phone stanby minus the phone inactive and you have the time our screen was on and the phone was actively used by you.
to see more details on the batetry stats make settings widged and link it to the battery you get a different battery menu then.
then click on the graph and you get lines on the bottum that show you if they phone has bin active and when.
this lets you see if the phone wasnt in deep sleep while it should have bin.
so standby time (doing nothing ) should be almost a week with wifi on and maby a few days showter with also 3g on (bluetooth and gps off ofcourse)
use time without gaming should be 3,5 to 5 hours if this isnt the case some app is killing your battery.

as per specification battery life is very good. talk time more than 9 hours but practically very low i cant talk even 1 hours even on stand by battery life exhausted within 12 hours. being a costly phone same not accepted.

Hello guys!
So i bought this phone from an Bulgarian site(i live there) i got it with no bulgarian menu language, it only has-Bahasa Indonesia,English UK, English US, Malay, Tieng Viet and 3 more i cannot type(they are written with some sort of chinese letters).Is there a way to "get" bulgarian or any other european language?

... moreObiously true LG cannot afford to loose his trust with consumers regarding theire Premium smarthphones. But still reputations follows. Alot of people are still waiting on ICS update to the P925 Optimus 3d and other devices.
It seems LG is following HUAWEI practice of focusing on gaining trusth of theyre consumers. Wich is great. Hopefully LG will star leaving theyre bad reputation behind.

The opt...4x will undoubtedly see j.b anytime soon.
if u like the phone, get it, It surely will be updated, just that it may likely be delayed as usuall. . As for me I'll lyk to see how the battery/sound/heating improves afta jb upgrade. I know i just need to excercis some patience. And yes patience will pay off, cos it'll get more cheaper by then when new ones are announced/released. Then i'll have avoided making an
illinformed decision.
2013 seems to be bringing just about my necessary demands for smartphones.
Guys hold on till new devices are announced and until this phone gets updated.

INARU MEJIL, 07 Feb 2013finally a legit confirm from gsm arena about jelly bean upd... morei never needed anyone to confirm it.
the math is simple.
the mobile phone market is full of whiners. lg has a bad rep for taking a year to update the 2x speed to 4.0 (even tho htc and samsung still havent updated some of there phones but noone seems to care if its any other brand they are only here to bitch at LG).
so because of these people LG would kill there phone market share completely if they would not update the 4x hd to 4.1.
they simply cannot afford not to update to 4.1
other beands can as they for some reason are forgiven for all there mistakes.

optimus 4x realy not a bad phone at all... but i tell u samsung has highly resale value were lg u have to loose lots of money... if this is not a problem den u can go for lg cause its slightly better n comfort dan note...

pros on the samsung vs the lg:
5.3 inch instead of 4.7
32 gb variant availeble.
slightly better battery life due to being only a dual core.
2500 mah battery instead of 2150.
other then that its really up to you do you like the big beast or do you like the more moderate LG?
do you want a heavyer rom or a lighter rom?
which design do you like more.
which is cheaper in your earea and do you care about that and is the possible price difference worth it for you?

AnonD-109685, 06 Feb 2013thanks pin obut i think u dont understand me ...... my phon... moreok i know thereis a setting inthe play store to only download trough wifi but if you also cannot browse over 3g (with wifi disabled somthing else is wrong. and maby your sim isnt accepted properly.
if you have the option try someone elses sim.
you can also go to settings > more (under the top section) > mobile providers > and search network again or 1 step back confirm the use 2g only box is NOT checked and data must be on there (top checkbx).
maby if you use a viritual provider its seen as roaming and you must check the dataroaming checkbox or ask your provider for a new sim.
other then that i cant understand why its not working.

With the stock music player, I wasn't satisfied. But with a good third party player like Poweramp, the sound quality was good. Really, the audio test results on gsmarena is misleading- it's not as bad as they make it out to be.
My previous phone was a Sony W8 and the O4X scores over it in many areas. My Westone 4 used to hiss with the W8 but it doesn't do so with the O4X. That's a good thing- it means that the headphone out has low impedance.
