i personaly do not care about 4.1 but theres thousants that do so why shouldnt i post that info for those that are interested in the news about it.
if you dont care dont read it or ignore it instead of insulting me for assisting a community that does show interest in information.

Inaru Mejil, 07 Dec 2012Has anybody else have received the V10H software update? I'... moreyes if rooted you need to hook up the phone to the pc and update it like that.
and yes you can root it after again.
and theres no solid evidence that v10h is actualy improving anything so far.
im sure it has some tweaks and fixes but ive not seen any reports of massive differences.

also v10h seems to be a europe open firmware meaning its for europe mainly so other people might have to download it manualy and update the phone manualy if they really want v10h.

Very good of Lg. I drink to that, but hush...wait...a mint we're crying for 4.2jb. who knows if we'll ever see it.
People chang so drastically. I just cant figure how someone who seemed to be so disinterested in 4.1 before is now sounding so thrilled to hear it announced. @, you know quite well that 4.1 offers nothing specifically big from 4.0. Pino enough of your pranks. Your so indifferent to an anoying degree.
Lg com'on, bring it on let's make som noise for jb4.2. That's what we need.

its a beta numbering is the least of there priority.
just look at the android build version thats a readout from the os itself and that clearly states 4.1.2 the rest is irelevant as its beta or even alpha state there not interested in numbering.
maby they will name it v11a or maby they will name it v10j noone knows.

for the android 4.1 fans there is good news

according to the following linke the 4x hd will get android 4.1.2 as its in beta stage now.

                              https://glbenchmark.com/phonedetails.jsp?benchmark=glpro25&D=LG+P880&testgroup=system

now dont come asking me when its released just be happy the monkey is out of the closet and you WILL get your 4.1 jellybean update.

not that i ever doubted that as LG simply cannot afford not to update to 4.1

this is a link to the app :
                                    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mhuang.overclocking&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5taHVhbmcub3ZlcmNsb2NraW5nIl0.

or simply search for setCPU and its the top one.

what tis app does is let you make profiles that decide how fast the cpu is clocked (up to 1500 mhz which is the max speed).
now you think theres tonns of other apps that can do this and your completely right.
but whats so awesome about this app is that you can add profiles and have each situation load a different profile.

say your screen if off you make a profile with cpu speed set to a bare minimum so the phone uses verry little power when the screen is off.

now android does this automaticly so thats not realy a interesting example.

now lets say the internet browser.
it does not need the 4x 1500 mhz at all yet it uses it and it drains battery like a madman.
so we make a new profile and set it to go to 800 mhz is the browser app is opened. so you save 700 mhz and your browsing will still be smooth.
you can immagine how much power that saves already.

you can do this with almost every single app or situation which is just amazing as this phone has way more power then it needs.

now the reason that it takes days to set this up correctly is that for each app you need to find the sweet spot in mhz at which is still smooth like butter.
so maby the browser needs 900 mhz to be supersmooth maby it needs 600 mhz noone knows.
or maby you dont care about supersmooth and you set it to 500 mhz and save even more power.

this you need to do with all your apps so every app has a custom cpu speed that matches the app.

after you figured all this out (i advise writing it down) you need to set priorities.
say your having the browser open and your screen goes off. its now stuck on the browser profile which runs at say 800 mhz while your screen is off.
this would cause unneeded battery drain if you forget about it.
so what you need to do is take the screen off profile and rate it higher then the internet browser app.
so now with a higher priority as soon as the screen turns off it starts up the best energy saving profile and as soon as you turn the screen back on it will switch back to the internet app profile.

this app is just freaking amazing and its a feature that should have bin in android to begin with.

anyway have a look at it and see if you like the app and you might save a LOAD of battery time.

i sure as hell love the app and the battery ti
                                    me it gives me.

once more root is required :(

forgot to mention that the v10h firmware seems to report better battery time but a bit poorer preformance in some apps.
take it with a bit of salt as it might just be wishfull thinking orbad testing from a few people.

on a more important not i have discovered a app that DRASTICLY improves battery times IF your willing to put a LOT of time and effort into configuring it.
the apps name is setCPU and sadly it does require rooting.
the app also is NOT free but id say 1.50 is defo worth the purchase if you set this up correctly.

so Krassi rooting might be for you after all.
this can literaly save you 40% or more battery time which is hours instead of all the minute tweaks.

AnonD-85999, 05 Dec 2012Hi, I have just got an update - version v10h. What are the... more-warning when putting out high vollume trough headphones (most likely because of EU laws).
-fixed some issues with google maps and google navigation app closing/restarting.
                                        -and more camera autofocus tweaks.

not sure the camera needed more autofocus tweaks but im interested n the results.

according to some people you need to use the LG suite to update this firmware just for people trying to update the phone.
