You don't have an idea of memory cards. :) We'll that should serve as a lesson for you. Where did you bought the card anyway? CD-R king? Lol! Just a thought and advice sir and this is what I am doing most of the time. Before I buy something else esp. for my OB. I always double checked it on the net. On which one is better and what is the recommended one. I researched everything before I bought my memory card. Now I have a 16g SanDisk class 4. Unfortunately, I was looking for a class 6 but couldn't find one. So I settled in for class 4. Everything went smooth men! I tell you. If you want to invest on some things, make sure that it's the best. Even though it's expensive, at least you can consider it as an investment for years. :)

feel free to reply on my post!!! i own a lg ob for more than 3 months i bought a 8 gb micro sd card to replace the complimentary 2gb memory card it is just not enough, well to be honest i have no experience and idea on buying the CORRECT memory card on my phone i just pick the cheapest i am from the philippines i bought the memory card from a famous tech shop here in manila for a 700 pesos for the 8gb the brand is tdk, to cut the story short everything is fine at first but i do notice that the phone is acting up on the new card it sometimes it will say that it doesnt detect the memory card and some lag on opening the picture galery and camera specially after i took a picture and after sometime i do notice frequent failing to update when i try to update my application that i have downloaded from the android market,note i still have free 5.5gb memory when the lag became so unbearable so i change my memory card and put the original 2gb i restore the content of my phone on my save backup after that i check that i still have 750 mb free memory with at least 650mb free internal memory and lo and behold the lag is gone! i check on the android market update the always failed update and success i update it all! opening the photo galery smooth fast uploading of my pictures no lag try taking pics and again fast upload and viewing of the pics.. so i ask my friend with a little know how in electronics he said that there is diff class of card in terms of speed and he said that maybe i bought a defective microsd card or the speed of my micro sd is not compatible with my phone so i check it on the net and he is right the best seller is a micro sd card is a 4mbps speed and the latest is the 10 mbps speed microsd right now i am thinking i made a mistake on buying the tdk sd card i didt checked the class speed so i blow my 700 pesos on a first gen microsd card well i hope this might help or you can relate on my experience feel free to reply on my post, right now i have no problem with the function of my ob it have no lags or freeze recently since going back to the 2gb original sd card , i am thinking of buying a 4 gb kingston class 4 microsd or if i can score a reasonably priced 4gb 10class microsd is better

Please see this review which states the proble... moreI don't think death grip issue happen on my Optimus Black. Tried to hold it and i try made call and test it, the network doesn't drop even a bar... If there is such happened, the GSMarena review team would also place this problems. I feel so weird about the OB in that review.. might be a faulty product? i think the review is from India(listen to his accent). From what he mention in there,honestly i don't have the issue being happen. So strange for his OB have such network dropping... so funny =)

i really like this phone,but it has some drawbacks,which is mentioned below.
1-battery drains little faster
2-unable to upgrade software to gingerbread and skype videocall does n't work in froyo
3-movie files which r not identified by OB's default video player doesn't run smooth in mobo or v player.
4-speaker volume is not audiable in video player and low for mp3.but very good in headphone.
5-touch sensor is not good enough
if point 2&3 can be solved then for me this is d best phone for me.and if anybody could help me regarding these then i will be grateful.

going by u people i think its just 1 piece of mine which is defective and dust is passing under screen but let me tell u guys mine is a white version released recently so might b that white has dust under screen issues ,cant say but pray if i get a new peice it should not b faulty

AnonD-1094, 06 Sep 2011i played it on mobo and bs player but wasnt smooth ,might b... morebro i want to tell u something ur mobile may be lg's fault or maybe not or maybe bec. for unusual use but i want to tell u that i have lg optimus 3d,black p970,p920 and non of them have any problem with it so believe me or believe him but i swear and i swear again lg never disappoint me at all and i have good service in my country man maybe u don't buy it from its official lg stores or maybe not but i tell i advice to buy this phone its fantastic and as i tell u i have one so that's means i use it daily,weekly and also u want to know how old r my mobile is 1month and 12 days until now and i never face any problems so again i tell u believe it or not
i do my best i have no other words i tell

Did you try the software namely Kascend video and Mobo player? My OB did a great job on playing the wmv format and also mkv, rmvb and other formats too..

come on guys their is nothing personel here ,niether do i have anythin against lg but guys it is frustrating dont u agree ,dust under screen is surely not acceptable in such high end unit
