Guys you just have to make a factory reset, i had same problems at first, after i had made factory reset ,phone became a lot faster and no bugs.

just updated to gingerbread and i must tell u it feels butter smooth. camera has new features like panorama, stitch, beauty, art and cartoon modes. other changes i've noticed r changes in file manager appearance,google+ and google messenger.

there also isnt slide up, ufter power butten you dont need slide up, it just goes in. so many problems, I wished I dint update. phone after update isnt phone.

I got GingerBread (Android 2.3.4) update today in India...
Steps to update to 2.3.4:
1. Connect your Optimus Black with LG PC Suite
2. Check for Phone Update
3. Download and Upgrade the same
Now you can enjoy the 2.3.4 for Optimus Black

this phone is really good. but the problem here is, even though you download the battery saver, it has no effect. promise.

Finally LG released the GB Upgrade for OB yesterday in India. The response of the device is very smooth.I have no issues with the device till now. Hope everyone enjoys the upgrade.
