Anonymous, 06 Oct 2012specification ok but still need improvement 3.0 Ghz proces... moreLol? Those specs will be available only 3 or 4 years from now on smartphones. Specifications are better than the ones on any other smartphone, so what do you want then?

LG Optimus G competes with nobody, because it's the best phone on the market in terms of specs, design, and an affordable price at the time when it will be launched worldwide.

AnonD-36721, 05 Oct 2012Only a blind or an idiot will compare the LG Optimus G with... moreWritten like a true fanboy. Foer me, who is not particular to Samsung or to LG, i see it like this,
                      Optimus G vs S3:
                      - 1. Optimus G has no card slot. -> Incomplete.

My phone in 2009 had 32GB internel PLUS a card slot. And even the older Nokia N97 had 23GB plus a card slot. And now, almost 2013 on the calendar, when HD videos are already old news on phones, we get only 32GB and no card slot?

In 2009 we didnt even have 720p videos but we had more storage.

I was exited about G before i found out about the card slot, now its just a incomplete and uninteresting phone that could not serve my needs at all.

LGOG competes with HTC One X+, not with SGS3

TheDude, 04 Oct 2012So no SD card slot, no Bluetooth LowEnergy support, no GLON... moreOnly a blind or an idiot will compare the LG Optimus G with Galaxy S3. The LG Optimus G is so far ahead of the GS3. i.e. the advanced display: Zerogap Touch and True HD IPSPLUS Display from LG Display harmonise to offer the slimmest, sharpest and clearest viewing experience yet. The new battery from LG Chem which is a 2100mAh battery has a longer life of 800 cycles, a significant improvement over existing mobile phone batteries.

LG Display’s True HD IPS+ Display is sharper than today’s AMOLED displays due to its high pixel density of 320ppi (1280 x 768 pixels) and Stripe RGB IPS Panel. This new display is capable of generating 470nits of brightness while consuming 70 percent less power compared to others when displaying a white background. Furthermore, True HD IPS+ Display does not suffer from screen burn-in as AMOLED displays have been known to do.

Similarly, there are several other features in the LG smartphone which are superior to the GS3 and other smartphones.

TheDude, 04 Oct 2012So no SD card slot, no Bluetooth LowEnergy support, no GLON... moreDon't judge processing power by frequency (MHz)

This CPU is approximately twice as powerful as that of a S3
The GPU is a bit more powerful too

after i have realized that this phone have no card slot, all my enthusiasm's gone..while in the first place,i hope i would see 64gb internal memory plus 64gb expandable card slot..but only 32gb fixed!c'mon lg,if you are going to claim 'no limit'with this phone, you should reconsider what you have done!

You will get the answer, why people buy LG optimus G instead of Samsung Galaxy S3.
