tanz, 18 Sep 2012Lg copied galaxy s2 design.Omg stupid people! Samsung fan boys everyday: "LG copies this, copies that." Just shut up, are you afraid that LG will finnally come on top over your rubbish Sammy? Haven't you already seen that LG is the innovator in the electronics market? TVs, phones and others. You don't have to buy LG products if you don't want to. But it will be a shame, because LG got an undeserved bad reputation, but their products are really the ones to buy. Quality(LG, HTC) is above quantity(Sammy).

AnonD-71868, 18 Sep 2012Will Samsung launch an S4 to compete with the king of phones?Acc. 2 d latest online info/rumors, Samsung r supposed 2 be launching the Galaxy S4 @ MWC in Feb, 2013 in Barcelona! I dnt care that mch 4 other specs, but i REALLY HOPE they incorporate a Big. Little processor with mch improved battery life! Everything in the mobile world is goin on improving, with the MAJOR EXCEPTION of battery technology! Graphene batteries wich can hold charge 4 a week r still a good 3-4 yrs away n in d meanwhile d best bet is Big.Little n similar architectures n bigger batteries! I think all the major manufacturers should make a concerted R&D effort in improving battery tech., instead of jst goin on increasing screen size, processor n graphix pwr, RAM n cam etc. There's no point in havn sch stellar configs, if the device can't even stay on 4 more than a few hours-who's gonna harness all that power???

Anonymous, 18 Sep 2012Why do you care for removable battery so much?By the time w... morei don't buy carrier locked phones. i am in the US and i subscribe to a prepaid plan that is unlimited and enjoy having unlocked phones. i buy latest and greatest gadgets. if i don't like it i sell it. but to answer your question my LG Optimus 4X froze and could not hold the power button to reset. so, i removed the battery and it rebooted. this is where i hate the iPhone. no microSD but the beauty of the microSD is you can put it android tablet and download pictures. not that i am a professional photographer. but thats a plus. i am tired of phones that come out with non-removable battery or midcroSD thats why people stay away from iPhone. enough said...its a personal preference and am sure majority agreest that it is a valid preference. i certainly love my contractless prepaid service where i can use my unlocked/unbranded phones!

Nice. I hope this comes to T-Mobile. My wife currently has the G2X with CyanogenMod 7.2 and wants a bigger screen for her ebooks. Her sister is a Galaxy fan but she wants to be different so this is awesome news.

Bomuaz, 18 Sep 2012it does not has microSD just internal 32g and NO replacemen... moreIt does not matter about the non removable battery because there is hard reset procedure in place so android phones nowadays do not need battery pull to bring it back to life if it hangs. Also, by the time the phone battery has any real problem, it will be time for your hardware upgrade, so you will be switching to another phone anyway when your carier subsidized contract runs out. Unless you are saying in your country there is no such thing as carrier subsidized and you cannot buy phone at a low price with 2 years contract, then that is another story. But for most users out there, they will all get any smartphones or iphone under a 2 years contract, then there comes another hardware upgrade, so why bother?

sunny, 18 Sep 2012where do you read that it has a removable battery? i am no... moreWhy do you care for removable battery so much?By the time when your phone battery has problem it would be after 2 to 3 years, you are already entitled for another upgrade because your dealer/carrier subsidize contract will run out by then, so you can get another phone with even better specification and more advanced technology, why do you stick with a phone two years old by tehtime your battery has problem. hardware upgrade has become the norm these days especially with carier subsidize. Especially these days, one can get a new phone with new 2 to 3 years contract for as little as $0.00,so why bother about the non-removable battery. All new cell phone battery nowadays can last for at least 2 years, after that simply upgrade your phone if your non-removable battery has a problem, unless you ar ethose unlucky one whereby your phone cariers do not offer low contract price point so you have to buy it full price, then you have to botehr about it. But the vast majority do not.

sunny, 18 Sep 2012i like android phones because they give me the perfect phon... moreIf you already have O4X, why do you need a new phone? This is one of the best phones on the market, second after Optimus G, S3 is a little better but I wouldn't pay 150 $ more for a phone that's almost exactly the same in all areas as O4X. Anyway, Optimus G will be very expensive now, because it has just been launched. If you really want it, just wait a month or two for the price to drop. But I think you should stick with the O4X.
