It should be added to the specifications of this phone has a USB OTG (communication-local) - connect to external devices such as USB memory sticks and other USB peripheral devices, .. you have to drop-box free 50 gb permanently

All that crap that phone is not good to shut up, I bought a new phone and I'm very pleased with the application of good batteries good display great camera very good night pictures like crazy and only daytime pictures are beautiful, so it's great telofon everyone who wants to buy a buy will not regret it I'm just saying bravo for lg great job I prefer this phone from s4

No 4.2 no 4.3 and this was their flagship. Look at sony, samsung, htc.. even one x+ got 4.2. also battery is just stupidddd. I need to charge 2-3 times a day. The worst ever! Its not even 1 year yet i own this! First time own lg and im starting to disbelief with lg. Hope they change it soon

I just started to hack with my Lg Optimus G "E971": thanks to CyanogenMod and to hackers at xda-dev, Android 4.4.2 Kitkat is available! Lg won't deliver any update (JB 4.1 is their last rom) but this phone is still going strong.
Battery life seems great, screen is a sharp ips hd 720p, quadcore cpu, and one can get it refurbished under 200$ now.
To install Android 4.4.2, one will need:
- to root the phone: use Bin4ry's Root script, method0 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2014185
- install a recovery mode - use FreeGee free from Google Play
- install a recovery supporting Kitkat 4.4 - download TWRP from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47233125&postcount=2 then copy it on the phone and install it from the recovery
Then download the following 3 packages, put them on the internal "sdcard" memory and boot in TWRP recovery to install them:
- install Omni 4.4.2 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48576027&postcount=641
- install Gapps 4.4.2 core from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012857
- install SuperUser from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47233126&postcount=3

optimus g is much more poverful than sgs3 and little not stronger than sgs4. because i know everything about phones. my comment is if you buying lg optimus g its you did true way .its the most telephone i had ever seen.

im tired with the uncertainty of software update. i was using motorola and hate them for not updating the OS and now im facing same issue with LG. if within next 2 months no software update i will not buying any lg phone anymore.. they just same like moto

it dosen't support otg (usb hust),it was suppose to support it but...
and i should add its camera dosen't have good quality
