I'm an owner of a Sony Xperia ZL (same display as the Z) and my girlfriend has an LG Optimus G E975. Sony beats the LG Optimus easily. In bright direct sunlight, you don't have to cover your Xperia screen to read and use your phone. The same cannot be said for the LG Optimus or Samsung's Galaxy phones. Do have a grasp of facts before scoffing at other people's comments.

As long as Sony still use TFT display, Sony never beat LG in terms of screen.
I compare OG with XZ, and OG still better even with lower resolution
Still hope Triluminos display from Sony will be great display.

i am facing Two problem's i this phone, 1st is wi-fi connections not stable, specially while watching you tube , it will hang up & just buffering , second is , red eye when you will capture images in night ,you will see eye in image it's look like ghost eye, please do let me know if you any solution for this.

Reptilian, 09 Jun 2013You must be kidding when you say that the LG Optimus G has ... morei saw many sony phone esp xperia z and zl, they screen maybe bright, but it look too bright with no deep in black, while my lg optimus G offer more balance between black and white. SGS4 is wash out look yellowish. i think the best screen is HTC one then LG optimus G. they offer more real color.

Among all current mid-end to high-end smartphones, Sony rules the roost when it comes to screen quality. Their screens are the best in every category. The trouble with their high-res screens though, is they take up a lot of energy to power, hence if you're a heavy internet browser or use it for long periods at a time, better look for Motorola or Samsung S4. Their screens might not look as good as a Sony's, but they're not bad at all.

I'm re... moreIf I were you, I'd go for other phones with 2GB RAM; there's plenty out there, like the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, LG Nexus 4 E960, Sony Xperia Z, Galaxy S4. I am a former HTC fan, but lately their specs are falling behind Samsung and Apple. LG Optimus G E975 has had so far good reviews, but the thing about battery draining quickly is of some concern, although I cannot verify that because I've never owned an LG phone before. I can attest to the battery longevity of Motorolas and Samsungs, having owned them before and now. If you want battery life and are not concerned about "merely" having 1gb RAM, go for the Motorola Razr MAXX (it has 3,300 mAh battery)

-Depending of what do you mean small usage, but if no game 1 day 1 charge
-Camera is average, not like 13mpx camera

how can I last the battery usage the whole day as I need to charge it twice in a day or is der a smartphone's battery more stronger n more lasting ???

ive just got 1 LG optimus G E975 its the battery that going low very fast n I have to charge it twice a day.....I wonder is there any smartphone's battery that can last the whole day ???

Can anyone help me choose between these two devices? I'm really stuck, it has been more than a week that i am trying to decide which one to buy :(( I really like the design of one x+ and soft touch on the back, but lg attracts me with it's 2 gb of ram, qslide and 13 mpx camera (although i read some reviews that 8mpx camera of htc one x+ is better). I also have some doubts about lg's built quality, it looks really fragile as well. So, anyone had the chance to use or test both devices? Please help me out

i have to say i have no lag on this phone. but i really need u LG to UPDATE SOFTWARE - THE BATTERY is killing me . i have to charge it twice a day.
