Got the phone (german) two days ago. The screen is amazing, the sound and speaker quality loud and clear and the build quality is excellent. First thing i did was to update the firmware to the last version (V10i). The phone is smooth and quick and basic tasks such as menu navigation,sms,browsing the gallery or web browsing happen without any lag. The battery life is not the best but not the worst one either. The camera is a good and clear average 5 mp cam. Apps open and run relatively quickly and smooth. You may experience some lag when you run 2-3 apps at the same time. It a very good, entry level android phone for light to moderate use and it's worth every penny.

I bought this phone 3 days back in India(New Delhi).Look wise amazaing phone....will mention my experience with this phone after few days...so far, thank god, did not face much lags/issues..
Updated my software version to latest one(Aug 12)..
Could anyone please tel me which RAM booster is best for L7 and any way to increase battery life, as battery is draining very very...Anyone who is using this phone, please help me out in these 2 issues...

Does the push mail really work coz i have the P970 and it only works on Wifi Hot spot areas.

while playing temple... morethey ll replace with the same model only.first they ll send ur mobile to headoffice(noida)there they ll check the problem and provide the new mobile to u.
im waiting to recieve my mobile.they told me they ll deliver my new mobile on coming saturday

The Optimus Black is a very good phone but it has almost the same Specs of the L7, the only thing that changes is the screen and the OS.

mano, 10 Sep 2012Hi, could you please tell me how to do filmware update?Go to "setting" of your phone, click "about phone",then press "software update", then press "check now for update". The OTA notice should show up prompting you to update your phone. Make sure you have Wifi or data connection and your battery is 80% charged.

It is ICS 4.0.3 withbaseband version is MSM7227A-1-AA, built numer IML 74K,the software version I got is V10e-AUG-10-2012 which is the latest firmware update issed by LG via over the Air. Check it out or use LG pc suite to update if not availble via OTA. It shoudl also be available in other countries.This firmware update greatly improved the smoothness of the phone and now it runs smoother and open appications faster than before with little lags. The pull down power control widget has an additional tab called quickmemo added to it as well. Overall, it is a good update from LG.

does anybody ever experience having your phone suddenly switched off while your reading sms, playing or browsing the net.. I'm encountering this problem very often and I have to remove the battery to get it restarted again... I'm planning to send my phone to service center... but I'm hoping to get some inputs or probable cause why my phone behave like that.. thanks...

i have purchase LG L7 on 8th sept.12 . as per the performance is consider , it is upto mark .
only worry factor is support. i couldnt find PC suite online yet.
please help me to get proper pc suite software.
