Battery lasts at least one day with very intensive use. Impressive is that even with 3% battery left I still was able to get 1hour of talk time. For the price paid(267euros) it has NO RIVAL. Android runs smoothly and apps open fast. Of course there are cost cuts like no protection glass and cheap camera etc but dont forget this is a budget 4.7inch screen. Anyway,i miss a notification light and a flashlight switch or key or whatever. 8

Can you transfer apps to SD card as internal memory is limited.Wil the battery last for one full day with phone calls , listening to musc and surfing the net on 3G.

I liked the phone very much.
But ... moreabout the battery life it`s good enough to enjoy round 1 to 1.5 day of medium to heavy usage(no 3G networks)it last round day with ( about 3 hr music & 2 movie play & 2 hr of gaming )

I also had a lot of trouble deciding what to buy at this cost the best two phones that were available was LG L9 and Samsung S advance. I went with LG L9. and yes I am satisfied. Samsung S advance is a phone that I have used my buddy uses it, So I went for this Whatever complains You will have for this phone just Remember those problems will be there for every other Android Phone at this range. BAckup : it gives 2150 mah. its the highest among others in this range.
Sound : I will not say its the best but it gives a close competition.
Camera : Great. Voice feature is xcellent. Dont have to click for pic.
Touch : Its smooth and IT DOES NOT LAG.
Memory: 4 GB internal. want more get an External it supports till 32 GB.
What more do you want from 18000 ???
Dont hesitate to go for it.

But ... moreFirst of all, LG L9 is one of the only handsets which has a battery with maximum storage capacity that is 2150mAh, even sony Xperia j has 1750mAh and so is samsung.
Regarding its standby, it has a backup of 1 to 2 days with normal calling with little bit of MP3(self experienced) while using wifi and mobile 3G with some gaming it drains out quickly and stays for 1/2 to 3/4 of the day only.

believe me its beautiful phone, as i own one. every thing is good except 2 petty things, 1. Battery drains with heavy usage of wifi, 3G, it stays for a day or 2 with normal calling and 2. sound is clear but not very loud yet acceptable.

Nitin, 30 Dec 2012Can anyone tell me about the music/sound quality of this ph... moreSound quality is not bad atleast.. words and music is crisp and clear, but not very loud with speaker on(subjected to surroundings). May not be better than Sony Walkman series or Xloud but yes satisfactory/average.
Sounds better with head phone.

The Lg optimus has good quality as far as screen display and pictures but as music goes , i wouldnt buy it as a mp3 use. For that you can just get the htc one s or the nokia lumia 810. My opinion is stick to a droid from samsung.
