[deleted post]I think you didnt got me i was asking if your end ip is indian or not bcoz at times the internet service providers use international proxies to connect to internet and this may cause you not seeing your update bcoz lg identifies update availability on the basis of ip and not on country chosen by you that is why we didnt saw an update even we chose romania
hope you got my point,
so try updating from computer with different isp or use lg pc sync for update or try and use kdz updator by getting the indian v20b link,

[deleted post]Ace, its still the same damn thing. Tried the steps mentioned in the blog w/o success. I uninstalled everything and did a fresh install, still no luck :(

Sam, 26 Aug 2011Can you please share the link for the Official release of G... moreif you have a pc just go to lg world website and download and install 'lg mobile new software notification'. next register your phone and country through this application. after that check if any update available.the application will automatically notify and then guide you through update process.
alternatively you can do this at lg service centre.

i updated my p500 to 2.3.4... itz realy fast,itz consumes less power.... i c angry bird rio is not stucking out... works gr8... every thing is going fine in ginger but one thing that i lost lg o1 default apps.. like camera,fm radio.... lg's camera features...
in ginger bread we should ON bluetooth for FM.... i lost free office.... lost divx... i need gingerbreed with all i need lg's default apps... if it comes would b fine enough

Checked for the upgrade a while back via LG Mobile Support tool and it does not show any available updates. Any idea whats going on?

LG India Customer service confirmed that the update is avl however you have to visit the service center to update you phone.

Im having a problem after the upgrade, i cannot pick or make any call's, it shows an Error every time "The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly." and the signal goes out for 20 seconds. I Did a factory reset too to see if it solves the problem but it didn't .
What to do?

I’ve been hearing from various blogs that official gingerbread is released but when I’m trying to upgrade using LG Mobile Support Tool I’m finding V10E, which is certainly not gingerbread. Can anyone confirm how to upgrade mobile to gingerbread for LG Optimus One in India?
