VENKAT, 08 Jul 2011i am do all those acitivity correctly the kdz s/w updation ... moreok no problem , u do a factory resetting .
first remove battery and insert again , then dont switch on , while in switch off press Home + VolDown + Power
u have to press three button at the same time ...
and then after 2 sec release and wait for 5 min to boot..

For me flash got installed but when opening browser,gets force closed...
Go for skyfire to use flash..

i hv seen some were on youtube that o1 has adobe flash player installed..
there is an app called smart flash
which plays swf format files..
bt it needs flash player to b installed..
i downloaded adobe flash player 10.3 bt on installing it says failed to install
now is there any way so that i can install it and play flash games n files using smart flash?

Lg optimus one is best budget android phone. The only bad feature is its music output, i hear some hissing sound wen i connect to earphone or externat speaker. According to me Nokia xpress music phones are masters in music....my nokia 5320xpress music gives superb sound than my optimus one.

what does it mean by UPDATE UR FIRMWARE, this messge pops up every few days! and it ask to connect to pc suite to update it.

hi everyone , i am using P500 since 3 months. I have not find any bug, but since last few 2 weeks my phone automatically switching in flight mode. I don't know why.....??? my phone currently running on V10e. however i have re-installed software recently, rather I haven't discovered any benefit.
Plz guys help me out , Your suggestions are welcomed.

sonam, 08 Jul 2011hi guys yesterday i bought this mobile any body will tell m... morecontinuous internet usage with screen on all time+ music background.. mine lasted 6 hours 39 min...., occasional net, music most of time, gaming.. then it lasted 13 hrs & 48 min. before battery got 13%... pretty good compared to other androids...

Wow the forum for this phone is so active. It seems LG O1 is really a great phone and can offer a lot of service.If i would base it on the positive vs. negative feedbacks. Lots of positive feedbacks. I will go for this phone. I'm convinced. lol

just two days after purchase and seriously facing the dust problem. April 2011 batch with serial num 104IPXXXXXXXX.
Except this problem the Gadget is just AWWEESSSOMMMMEEEE......

i will tell u how to update . first download these 2 files .

steps:-
1> do a back up of contacts and files of phone memory ,make sure phone is charged full..
2> its risky updating , phone may get bricked (normally it wont) , then i am not responsible .
3> do a factory reset.
4> then go to settings / application / development / select usb debugging.
5> now in comp make sure u have installed lg original update software not kdz.
6> go to control panel /device manager , in modems / if u see "lg virtual modem " then right click that and select disable.
7>now connect ur mobile , make sure it says "usb debugging enebled " in phone .
8> now open kdz software , select type as 3gqct and phone mode as diag . In kdz file select firmware (that is v20c file downloaded 119 mb)
9> now in kdz software click "launch software update"
10> dont dont dont remove ur phone or do anything stupid while updating , then it may damage ur phone , wait until the kdz software say "setup complete - restart "
11> after this remove battery and insert back and switch on . wait for 10 min .
now u have official ginger bread
after phone start select english language.

I want the display of my phone lg p500 screen on my laptop. I tried to connect it through the LG OSP(on screen phone), but it is asking for any password. Don't know the password or whether i will be able to do so through OSP or not. Want to use my phone to give demo through projector. Please reply if any body having the idea.
