Hi suraj,Thankyou very much suraj for replying me.i want to use my phone for gaming,watching movies stored into it or streaming through,and ofcourse huge internet.so can i play good games,motion based games etc,watch different format of videos as avi,flv etc.i have a nokia 5230 in it i downloaded divx player,and i am able to watch avi movies in it.and what about the internet in o1?thnx suraj brother.

I think i should remain patient till lg offers the official upgrade. Anyways i havent purchasd d fone yet.
Sekhar 9031 is already using those earfones in his galaxy 551 n he's impressd.
However i dont know any of these guys yet i feel some sort of social networking bonding between us. I help some, some help me n this continues...

While u go in for that sony headset. I would surely purchase 1 cuz i cant leave without music.

AnonD-11900, 25 Jun 2011yes i am wating for his experience with sony earphones. ... moreHi...As i earlier said to Suraj,i pretty much enjoy the xperience from my galaxy 551-Sony headset combo....I never tried to compare it to Walkman phones as my walkman stopped working long before i bot my galaxy....Speaking relatively to the quality you get from the stock headset that accompanies the handset,I would say the music xperience on the whole(bass,treble or watevr) is amazing...Like i said before its only the next best thing to a Walkman phone...So digest that fact before you decide :)

i purhased this model yesterday.... while my friend has since one month... but i got very bad and slim pouch while he got nice both side open pouch.... i just wanted to know why there is difference in pouch quality? has anyone has experience similar situation? plz reply soon....

Some O1 users try to change the Operating system from Froyo to gingerbread by using available opensource applications from net. Rooting is also a similar procedure . Cyanogen mod 7 is another improved version of Android operating system.
Though the above procedures are claimed to improve the performance of the phone, but doing any of it will VOID the warranty of your phone and u may face problems later. So better wait for the OFFICIAL LG update that will come in August or sept this year.

According to LG, handsets of certain serial numbers are affected (just manuf. date is not sufficient). If you mention, users will know what to avoid.

defective touchscreen. LG will not replace it, even though just bought from LG store. was told that touchscreen can be replaced but with a charge. i said. KMA!!! you just lost not one but probably a thousand LG user with your poor after sales service.

I am planning to go in for my first android. And here comes a dozen doubts for me.
The major issue being-will lg o1 provide me with good audio quality just like the Walkman fone i use or not. And hence, i getting active in gsmarena is how it started.
Getting bak to ur point.
Post me ur needs and expectations that u expect in o1.
Based on that i would surely rply u.
Well summarisng up, this is a superb fone. Im not too sure about the sd card issue, but i bet its the best value for money fone in this segment.
And of course evrythng has its pros and cons, the O1 is not an exception.
O1 would be a nice fone to u if u dont need the specific area where d fone lags behind.
N again now here comes the point is what r ur needs and expectation from O1. So that the cons of the fone wont b a big issue if the pros of the fone pleases u and dominates over the cons of the fone.
So do post ur needs and expectations. I would try my best. Cheers

im optimus one user for 4 months...cheap but good android 2.2 phone...dust problem???wth???there is no such thing...and i saw a lot comment the headphone???come on!..it's 3.5mm audio jack...u can buy nice big headphone..its fit!!!i just changed 2gb memory card to 8gb...only sometimes it can't read the application that saved in memory card...all u need just restart the phone..thats it!..camera just normal...but still acceptable...any question??willing to share..thanks...:)good day...

Once you upgrade to a class 4 or higher card the "problem" is gone. I've owned this phone since November. This is still the best Android phone for the money 8 months later.

1. doe... moreAfter using O1 for 1 month this is my opinion.
1.Great Value for money at this price range as compared to other phones.
2.The display is much better 480x320 (dont go for LG ME or wildfire or pop or FIT their screen sucks)so great view.
3.camera is ok the pics are not as good. please check sample pics on the internet to see if it suits you. I can successfully photograph handwritten notes using the O1 camera. thats all i need :)
4. i dont have dust problem (manufactured in March'11). so try getting the latest built model for that.
5. angry bird lags sometimes. other games are great. the accelerometer based games also work great :) love them.
6. battery last 2 days with normal use.
7. earphones not great . i miss my walkman ph Bass :(
the phone is good inspite of its pros and cons.
Some people talk of using Cyanogen/Rooting their phone. remember that doing this will VOID ur warranty. So do it only if you know the consequences.

As I'd mentioned in earlier posts, I was looking for a good headphone with mic and button myself. So can't help there. You could try the Philips one which claims to work with LG phones too, but would strongly suggest you check that everything is working before buying, if possible.
