shagy, 13 Jun 2011u need to have the same connection as ur x8 frnd have...i m... morethank yo shagy,hmmm we both have same network connection airtel, we are using UC browser, when give download his phone x8 will have minimum of 12kbps but my o1 is max of 2kbps, everybody in the blog are telling like optimus1 is very good compared to all other within 15k...am happy that i not o1, but am really worried of internet speed:-(

Dear all,
I have the lg optimus one since December 2010, in the first week when he arrived to Vodafone Romania for 180E. Since then (over 6 months)i have no issue with the dust under the screen. The stock firmware 2.2 then i upgrade to 2.2.1 then to 2.2.2 they are all very bad, then i discover xda development and i upgraded to Cyanogen 2.3.4 Gingerbread aka HoneyComb and now thw phone is fantastick. Overclock the cpu to 806Mhz, and now thw score with Quadrant is 1321 compared with the latest stock firmware from lg only 411 in the same test. The update and the overcloking is more then stable and i recomand to all of you,No lag, no cpu runnig when you touch the screen at full power, with other words I HAVE A NEW PHONE with much HORSE POWER.

I have finally bought this mobile but m facing a frustrating problem
Whenever i close programs like gallery fm voice recorder using task killer they again appear in and eat up ram.i hv also
Tried advanced task killer.
Pls help me out frnds

Hi guys..i bought this 10 days ago..i am really enjoying it to its full infact its the awesome one..everything is totally fine with respect to its price..getting good performance with stock rom but on day 4 rooted,flashed custom recovery & finally i got CM7 & guess what now getting quadrant of 1140 :) :) :) without any overclock..with stock it was around 460..its silky smooth,sound is beyond my sony walkman(thanxx to dsp manager),battery giving almost 48 hrs on moderate use..
So if your budget is around 10k & who want it i say go get it..

Confirmed... moreDoes LG provided a permanent method to solve the dust problem for those units manufactured before December.
Please, if possible, also ask LG to advise how to check the manufacture date of the unit.

2: I charge mine every 3 days with normal use. That is much better than most other Android phones. You didnt say how long it lasts and what are you doing with it, so...
3: Its normal. If you would like to touch a really hot adapter come and touch my notebook adapter.

If they overclock the CPU of this phone like what HTC have done for the Salsa. Then this will be as better than the Galaxy ace for sure. I really like it. Its an honest phone unlike the pretentious Ace.

I recently got this phone for myself. I have some questions for the settings:
1) How can I use task manager/reminder in this phone. Whenever I touch the calender, it goes to Google acct. Don't this phone have it's own internal task manager/reminder?
2) Is there any way to add multiple songs at once in playlist created. I had to add each song individually.
3) Can I create groups like family, friends, colleagues in contact book and assign different settings (mp3 tune etc) for each group?
Please help.

I needed a replacement for my old Palm TX and my Sony-Ericsson K790. I wanted to wait for the Xperia Pro, but I found myself at a pre-father's day sale and decided on the Xperia X10 mini pro.
Alas, there was none in stock, so I looked around and liked the P500. QVGA, GPS, 3.2 MP camera and Android 2.2 was pretty much the spec I wanted, and at just around $350 US, it was an instant winner.
To me there's been no disapointment at all, just bliss all over :)
