one of my friend got xperia x8, when we browse thro net he ll get speed about 12kbps but in my LG optimus one p500 only 2kbps speed:-( why its like that, i really felt very sad about this, can any one help to boost up my internet speed or any methods to increase speed, or what may be the problem:-( pls help me

Many people who have got the dust cleaned have reported dust accumulating again after sometime. So its not known if there is any permanent solution. I asked, but did not get a satisfactory answer. They probably plan to just clean it until its out of warranty. Then you are on your own. In my case, instead of cleaning, they ended up adding more and spoilt the phone too.
Don't believe it when they say they have never heard about the problem. They are probably trained to tell that to every customer to make you believe that the problem is only with a particular piece.

Hi. is this phone really a great phone? I mean.. what are the good and bad side of this phone? I need to have a survey before I buy one. especially answers from pinoys coz I'm here. I just thought maybe the location can also affect phones. Thank you. :)

I also experience the dust problem in my P500, I got it in the last week of April.
Is there any ultimate method to stop dust from getting into the phone adapted phone users or provided by LG?
How to check the manufacture date of the phone?
I am in Iloilo City of the Philippines, although dust under the screen of P500 is known a problem, when I mentioned this to the local service center, people there replied that they have never heard of the dust problem, however, they will clean the dust for me.
Is LG adapting a new tactics in handling P500 owner’s complaint?

Nur, 11 Jun 2011lg op 1 .....this phone is good or not..,... shuld i buy i... moreheyy nur..
undoubtedly o1 is better phone.it comes with 512mb ram,200 adreno gpu(graphical performence) nd 1500mah battery.its price max will go upto 10.5k.
whereas in galaxy fit theres no mention of ram size.rumour is it is of 160mb.theres no gpu.nd its price varies in between 10.3-11k(depending on areas)with a battery of 1350mah.but the add factor is that it has 5mp nd 3.3in screen(but not a big problem.video rec is poor with qvga@15fps nd no flash).in o1 even if it has 3mp vrec is better with qvga@18fps(nd it too doesnt have a flash).o1 has upgrade of 2.3 very soon.but theres no official declare of 2.3 for fit.nd definately have to say that both have lags.remaining features are nearly same with o1 upperhand.video resolution is much better in o1...
therefore i recommend u o1...but its upto u..

i had many problems wid the wi-fi.....
n now i hv forgot that this fone has wi-fi.....
the service center ppl told me to update the software version which might help..bcoz they had no idea about how to connect the wi-fi....

Let know if your using custom or stock ROM...simple things to check are your WEP password set for router and make sure your WIFI is set on router.That would clear all problems.....if its trying to obtain IP means your Pass key is et wrong for authenication...

I had posted my experience after one week of usage here. It's been almost 2 months now. The only problem with the phone is that the internal memory is less. So I can't install too many applications.
Also sometimes the phone lags, even in making phone calls. It also lags when playing games that need high number crunching during physics simulations like angry birds and xconstruct. These games just about manage to work on this phone but the difference is obvious when you play them on samsung galaxy ace.
But for this price, this phone is really good. You can also go for HTC Wildfire S which came out, it has gingerbread, priced more than this.
Also, I can't update my phone firmware bcoz of stupid LG update s/w. I also don't know how to upgrade it to gingerbread. Anybody knows???
