I think this phone is great for features vs cost. Not too sure about the looks as i think the Samsung galaxy ace is better looking. What i want to know is weather the CPU will be overclocked when the gingerbread update arrives. Eg like the Galaxy ace

The lagging is caused by a bug in the phone's kernel that causes the CPU to spike to 100% usage whenever the touch screen is used. This problem should be resolved in the Gingerbread update.

Wondering the GPS feature in this phone is downloaded to phone or need to go online .....thinking to buy a phone w GPS downloaded to the phone...coz i didnt plan to subscribe data plan..

AnonD-8986, 21 May 2011dude as per the my info the new ones don't have this proble... moreDo you know when this fix has been done. Today I was about to purchase a February 2011 model. Postponed it due to some reasons. Not sure whether this would be having the fix.

Anonymous, 21 May 2011i have updated to v10e from 10c although overall performanc... moredude its the same for me too after upgrade to v10e overall performance has improved but battery drains much faster !!even in standby it drains as much as 10to20% at night even though I've disabled the internet networks!!earlier it used to drain only 5% max
waiting for another update or gingerbread!!!

nimmi, 20 May 2011hi guys ...i hav planned to buy dis o1...bt lg mobile users... moreI'm using this phone from January and i never felt that the touch screen has gone less responsive :-) but the problem is that when too many programs are running ,the phone lags a bit , its common with android mid range phones.
but this phone has got better ram than most other phones in the range so you can run more programs!! processor too is good and does d job flawlessly !!
so you can go ahead with this one or if you are still hesitant try one by going to some shop!you won't get disappointed by this one !

This phone is awesome at this price. Touch screen response is just like a new phone who the hell told you it lags as time passes. Understand NIMMI don't compare this phone with other LG phones. It is an android.

i have updated to v10e from 10c although overall performance has improved, battery doesnt last. please do not update ur o1 v10e is a battery hog. if you want to update then wait for gingerbread which will be available in july(lg facebook italy)
