Have just bought an Optimus one. Impressed with the clarity, pics, etc. Two issues as I didn't find the manual very enlightening - (a) Loaded software on my vista pc. When opening the PC suite, it says"this application failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect". Pls advide how to install the LG PC SUITE IV on a Vista PC. (b) How to get the GPS working. First smartphone, hence the questions!!

It's somewhat true to say V10b has more stable and better battery life than the recent update,There are many forms on googling to flash original ROM of what ever version you want
Its easy and dont panic if anthing wrong,
I will help out if even phone is bricked to a extent and can retrieve
HAHAHAHAHAHA mine its clocked constant now at 768MHZ blazingly quick responce and performance

buy lg optimus one p500 instead of samsung galaxy 5 bcoz this phone has many features better and battery life also gud compared with samsung and clarity is 100times better than samsung go for it

hey guyz, i just bought this handset two days ago, i just could say it rocks, amazing phone in all aspects,
just wonder why the android market page takes too long to get loaded, should i check or uncheck any features on the phone or any other tip to be considered?
any other trusted webpage that i can get the apps from?
please tell me what s the procedure to install an app on my optimus?

N... moreSorry, but I was not able to compare battery back up times between V10C and V10B, as at that time the phone was very new and I was trying out too many things with the phone to be able to compare battery backup durations. But now that people are mentioning it here, I guess I did and do get longer life with V10b.
But battery aside, V10c absolutely sucks as it definitely makes your phone sluggish and prevents rooting. For me thats reason enough to stay the hell away from it.
Trust LG to spoil convert the good into the bad... :@
With fair amount of usage, and keeping everything off most of the time and some other tweaks, on V10b, I can get upto a day's backup. I find that quite annoying, but thats how it is with Androids as of now. Like I said before: if battery is very important, go for Blackberry or Symbian (depends on model), in smartphones. Else many feature phones will give the best battery backup times.

hey guyzz am confused btween dis one and d new samsung galaxy 551.......battery doesnt matter....i want a superb touchscreen with good clarity and most imp d apps....will all d apps wrk on samsung galaxy 551?...am buying in april 2011..will better phones be released den?....thank u in advance.

rooting has nothing to do with flashing your oiginal firmwire
infact i have installed 2 custom rom and kernel to gain full access to all i wish to.
hardware acceleration done one custom rom installed is amazing as flawless.

I'm having a little bit of problem with my battery life (and obviously i'm not the only one)... it lasts about a day. is that normal for a 1500 mAh? I've read on this forum that some of you are downgrading the software to prolonge the battery life. Is this the only solution? I find that swiching of GPS, Wi-fi, etc. doesnt help very much. are there some applications that really drain the juice?? any help would be much obliged!
oh, otherwise, one heck of a phone :)...
