guys, I am planning to buy this phone but i need to make sure, can I change the ringtone for sms with my own mp3's, I mean long mp3's? In the past I used LG phone (the Viewty) and theringtonefor sms only lasted for few seconds. It was really annoying as I kept missing my sms everytimeI am outdoor or on my motorcycle, please,infor me, thanks.

For those of you who complain about the battery backup, i have something to share here. I found the battery to be discharging quickly even when the phone is idle in v10c but i believe it has something to do with android 2.2.1 coz i remember having the same problem in my old samsung galaxy with version 2.2.1. So i downlgraded to v10b which i feel im happy i did. Now my battery lasts for 1 full day with extensive usage ie., with google sync all the time, 2 mail accounts with hourly sync, live widgets on the homescreen and a live wallpaper. I use gtalk and sms almost all day until i sleep with occasional emails and calls. Im a happy man now..

hi frnz.....2 r 3 users have commented about rooting n downgrading.pl reply for my doubts too....
is it necessary to ROOT my cell if i downgrade from v10c to v10b?...n wts d spl thg in v10b? does battery performance increases in it? pl reply.if possible give me ur email id....i need to ask few more.thank u
