Procedure for rooting your phone
If you have version V10b (the procedure mentioned in the link does not apply for software version V10c) then you can uninstall the unwanted applications using the procedure mentioned here

If you have version V10c then you can go back to the version V10b by using the procedure here

I had V10c. I downgraded it to the version V10b by using above procedure.
Then rooted the phone using the procedure in the link at the top and uninstalled apps like Bollywoodji, Infant Vaccine, PNR Tracker, etc.
Please remember although i was successfull in doing the above procedure - there is always a risk in doing so. So please do the same at your own risk.

The lack of flash is really annoying. There are also the following negative points:
- when installing a lot of apps (let's say, about 15 or more), you really feel a lag in how the phone moves.
- the battery isn't really very strong. If working w. your phone, you're lucky if you can use this phone more than 15 hrs
- there are no default way to swich between different profiles (loud, meeting, vibration etc). Very very annoying to have to search the android market for such an application.
- when searching a contact in the phonebook, if I push on the wrong contact, and then push the back button to come back, it doesn't come back at the same place, but at the beginning of the list. So you have to scroll down again and again
- auto-rotate screen doesn't work immediately when you turn it
- a keyboard would really have been a huge improvement.

Hey everyone before any android phones just have a look at 4 android phones launched by Samsung and specially go through Galaxy ace galaxy fit and Gio. I am damm sure you all will 4get LG as i have used 25 samsung sets which have always fullfilled my expectations so dont be in hurry and wait for samsung

My first android! Loving it so far. Even if Samsung Gio comes out which i think will be its direct competitor, I would still choose O1 for its design, battery and build quality.

I wanted to buy a a smartphone since a long time. Was confused between Galaxy3 and Optimus One. And m happy i madea rt choice.M loving my Optimus One.
Really awesome phone. Performance is really gud. I would recoment it to every1. Best part is it comes with Android 2.2 and is upgradable to 2.3.
Trust me its the best phone in this budget.

It has greater performance. and works nice. no applicaations hangs nor i needed to restart since 15 days.
it has more ram 512mb compared to others lie galaxy, c5, c6.
Great os.
i have used following features
camera
adobe pdf reader
office
internet
gmail
google map
yahoo mail
yahoo messanger
all above apps are working very fine.
i prefere it over galaxy3, galaxy551, htc wildfire due to more ram and it has version 2.2 froyo.

hey guys! i have a problem on my P500. i cannot used my music player (default)properly since this morning.all the songs were deleted. every time i download a song it didn't directly go to music plater instead it is only saved in the sd card. now i cannot play a music via music player. pls help!!
