What i meant was that there are applications such as the 'mvideo player'(which i use) that can play the videos in their original resolution as well as zoom the videos to fit to the full screen.

1. Tell me again how to set the download frequency for gmail/yahoo push email. You wrote "Tap on your Yahoo mail icon->press the hard menu button->More->Settings->Send & Receive->Set download frequency".
What is the "hard menu button"?
2. Is there a way to set a "meeting" profile mode? It seems this LG comes only with two profiles (sound/silent).
3. Is there a way to cancel an sms, just after sending it? Some nokia models have an explicit "cancel" link.
4. Is there a way to allow flash? No flash reading is a question of hardware or software? What is the close next model in the LG Optimus class, which has built-in flash capability (but at the same price range)?
5. I used a nokia e63 for a couple of month. When receiving an email, a small light (around the 4 key) was blinking, so that you don't have to always take the phone in your hand, to see wether you received or not an email. Is this possible with this phone?

Purchased phone 23/12/2010.All was working really good.I was so happy with it.07/01/2011 could not send or receive emails,could not bring up google nor facebook.Can make outgoing calls can not receive incoming calls.When somebody calls me they tell me that my certain number is on the phone at the time of their call, but that is not the case at all.

I want to say that this phone does not support gingerbread and os 2.2.1 .... dont try to update because i killed my new lg optimus one after 15 min of use...... how sad.... now i must pay 40bucks for repairiing os....... in rest phone is good for such a price and performance... i recomend to buy it and never do update it will cost you a lot...... if someone can help me with recovering dead phone.. any ideas ?

partha, 21 Jan 2011How to sync through data cable?Hi,
First of all go to settings->SD card and phone storage->uncheck 'Mass storage only' option. Now connect the phone to the PC via USB. A green android bot will appear which will notify you that the USB is connected. Now you have 2 options:
1)Select 'Turn on USB storage' on the phone. The green bot will now turn orange.(Alternatively, you can open the notification bar and press upon 'Select to copy files to/from your computer') Now you can access your memory card through your computer. To disconnect press 'Turn off USB storage' on the phone
2)To connect via PC suite: When the green bot appears, don't select 'turn on usb storage'. Just open PCsuite and select 'connect phone'. Now you will be able to sunchronize your phone with the PC and also be able to update your phone.

The phone already comes with flash 10.1. The optimus one has a v6 processor which does not support the flash instruction set and versions like flashlite. But you can use the browser 'skyfire' to play flash games and watch videos.

Maybe they are right. Try alternative video players such as 'rockplayer','act1 video player','mvideo player'. They should have the fullscreen option. When you are watching you tube videos, press the hard menu button on the phone->more->watch in high quality.

Go to settings->accounts & sync->check 'background data' and 'auto sync' options. Clear the cache of the 'gmail' application if you are facing trouble in receiving the notifications. Make sure that the 'receive notification' is checked in the settings when you open the gmail application.
