how is d speaker quality n headset???
Does it have " write n go".......
D main reasom for buyng it is flash n ability to update to gingerbread...

I luvd d home screen dock...more lyk pandahome...
I just want to know hw is d flash n wat type of flash content it plays....
Also d screen colors is 256k while galaxy 3/5 hav 16m
does it hav NOTICEABLE CHANGES????
is d touch responsive???

App2sd depends if d app has d ability to b moved to sd card...now almost all d apps r gettng updated for app2sd....
Has ne1 tried flash games online from miniclip or others....
Pls visit www.androidfarmville.com n c if d game opens..i want more info abt d built in flash n apps wich cum bundled wid d phone

[deleted post]Optimus One has edge over G3. O1 has higher resolution screen, double RAM (512MB). Whereas G3 has better camera. I recommend O1 any day.

I am a galaxy 5 user...though m gng to buy p500...cz samsung is well behind deadline for froyo update..
Well m really eager to buy this cell..
As for battery keep clearng ram from task manager...
To play mp4 in rock player go to rock player settings n check mp4 option...d built in player has many supportd formats so 3rd party playee wont b needed...
For apn u jst need apn name i.e mobile office,tata internet etc...apn n apn type...apn type shud be DEFAULT,SUPPL n u can connect to d net...
Docomo is d fastest wid 3g signal almost everywher..
I hav a downloading speed of 20-30kbps wich is decent..aftr actual 3g service it'll b 5-6mbps...

Crusade of destiny,dungeon hunter,heavy gunner, my paper plane,mystique, light racer, raging thunder,homerun battle 3d,nfs shift,labyrinth,speed x,pocket legends,speed forge,armored strike,armageddon squadron and many more are all 3d games that run fine on the phone.
Other good games are air control,blow up,robo defense,fruit ninja,angry birds,abduction,live holdem poker,fifa,zenonia etc.
The apps which i use are astro,backgrounds,folder organiser,lookout,music junk,mvideo player,no lock,poweramp,ringdroid,skyfire,wapedia,app2sd,laputa,zedge,color flashlight,how to tie a tie etc. Other good apps are sound hound,smart keyboard etc.

The phone works slow/fast depending on the RAM available to the system and the android OS is hardwired to free up RAM when required. The alternative home launcher apps will not slow down your phone, they will only eat up your phone memory:)

Some apps lack the capability to be able to be run from the sd card. Actually the applications were supposed to be updated and become 'froyo' oriented i.e. be able to be stored on the SD card. But since the updates haven't arrived and the optimus one internal memory was designed taking into consideration the following updates, everyone is facing the memory shortage problem. But the updates are surely destined to come and as more and more phones start running the android 2.2, the apps will eventually be able to be stored to the sd card. Download the app 'app2sd' which will help you to transfer the 'froyo' applications from phone memory to sd. You can do 2 things:
1)Take the backups of the apps which use the phone memory using some app like the 'astro file manager'. After taking the backups, you can delete the apps not imminently required and restore them using 'astro' when required.
2)(easier one!)Download those apps which can be stored to the sd card. Almost every app which gets stored on the phone memory has its alternative which can be stored on the sd card. You can visit the site 'appbrain' and can easily find the apps which are sd supported.

it showed as connected and Wi-fi icon also appeared in the notification area..but when i tried 2 surf..it showed network error...den i tried 2 enable data by checking it....but didn work :((

I am unable to access wi-fi without enabling gprs (data enable). even if i enable it...the "E" symbol appears for a second and goes away...
I am using vodafone sim and i am unable 2 edit the APN settings APN shd be given as "www" but it works only when it is given as "portalnmms". Can u pls tel me wat 2 do???...d speed also is aweful...I tried docomo sim it gives better speed...

After all the research and my loyality to Nokia ended with this phone.I almost decided to buy Nokia C7 , but i changed my mind at last for LG.Its awesome , I am Nokia lover , which offers simplicity in handling. But LG is too good with lots of applications and andriod technology which Nokia doesnt have.I am not so much concerred on the 3MP camera of LG . Its slim and looks like Iphone.Dont just see the Dummy models at shop and buy mobiles , this one is good one and best priced .

m using o/1 n serv provider is vodafone....i badly ... moreHi,
I too was using vodafone...99 for 50mb free plan...still on normal usage of 13 days only...my bill landed up to 500 for surfing about 250 mb something...
and vodafone use to provide me "edge" network mode for andriod as thr basic plan of 99 for 2.5gb (browsing only) is only for mobile internet, they said that wont work on andriod...we need to take vodafone live something..so it was 50mb in 99 rs...which also eventually lead to high bill for me ...
so i switched to reliance gsm..which gives 2.5gb for 99 rs per month, in mumbai till now i have no issues with network nor its speed..another option was airtel with the same deal...but network reviews were not positive....
initially i use to keep network mode 'AUTO' so it use to run on 'H' or '3G' mode by default...now i have switched to 'Use only 2g network'...so network mode came to EDGE again...still there is no impact on speed of access for our stuff on andriod...its smooth...chat, emails, sync, browsing and feel its gonna give me more battery life...this switch was suggested by our forum member

any other player apart from rock player which can run the .mp4 video files on optimus 1p 500.
as i downloaded from market app but the mp4 video file are not able to run on this player
please suggest some other player for mp4 files
