pliz help me out. i bought this phone 4 days ago n it does not charge. even after changing the batery. lg pliz recall some of these sets, they r embarassing.

k folks just got my O1 ,
and i have bought it after a thorough thinking ,
based my choice on the basis of proper reviews by tech experts at various sites and loads of tech magazines ,
yes the camera is not that great , but it ll do , apart from that this is a great handset
for all those who are still in dilemma or dicey about the purchase , better first chk various specialized reviews on youtube, and go feel the handset in ur hands at the hotspots , or mobilestore ( compare the touch response with other sets , feel the weight and touch of it ) then decide and read the opinions here ,
i am yet to chk the battery myself , but i know its anrdoid and i am gonna be happy with once in 14 hours charging ,
also would appreciate if you folks can tell me how to set things up in it

[deleted post]Go and buy the htc wild fire and comment on their page......o yes wild fire the same with a lower screen resolution and no froyo out of the box......forget gingerbread for wild fire ever.......and yes a pathetic battery backup by htc...

Please dont go for this phone.Dont waste money.No quality PC suits.No quality drivers.Same as China mobiles.Fruyo is only useful for frying in the pan.All LG phones are total failures.Unfortunately I am struck with this phone deciding on opinions.I am not a fan of Nokia mobiles.Soonly i had Motorola and then two samsungs in the past.But now i realise Nokia and Symbion are user friendly,resale value worth money.I bought LG p500 4 days back,now going throw it to my drawer and go for user friendly,with reasale value Symbion(May be in idiotic OS in others opinion)Nokia C3-01 or X3-02.Thank you.

I think most of the guys dont know that android can install mozilla firefox 4.0 for mobiles.Its working perfectly on arm7.0 cpu 1Gz and on test mode on arm6.0 like this optimus.So the provided a test version for it.But flash is still on working on firefox for mobiles.

Sir, My phone is not recognised by PC Suit installed in my computer.I have tried many times,restarted,reinstalled(tried both turn on and off USB Mass storage).I checked control panel the Modem is not quereing,It's seen as "LGE virtual modem".I tried reinstalling Modem many times.Not succeeded.Please help.

and for the DECENT issue :P well may be samsung cameras are better , but have a look athe pictures clicked by gsmarena tech guys from O1 and you can make out they are good :) but then they are shot during the day .
all in all i personally am ok with the camera .

Better to speak in terms of comparison... else just compare few pics yourself. & if you compare, Samsung cameras are generally better. So just don't expect the best in class camera if you are buying O1.
As for the stuff you can do on your new phone, or rather what you shouldn't do is to upgrade the firmware. You could also root and weed out unwanted LG crapware, esp Bollywoodji. If you don't reboot often, just force close it everytime, if you don't want to root. Besides that just keep services like GPS, BT, WiFi, EDGE off when not required, for better battery life.

Guyz i have decided after doing thorough research that O1 is the best on every account except for a average video camera ( not the picture camera mind you , which is more than decent )
So to all who are still in dilemma , look no furthur , if you have a budget of like 15 or 16K then i guess for 12.5K O1 is a steal , buy it and you thoroughly enjoy as i am looking forward to :)
Right what i would like to req to all good people here is PLEASE SUGGEST ME WHAT ARE THE IMPORTANT THINGS i should do as soon as the phone is in my hand for the first time ( yupp i ll try and make a call :P LOL ) i mean what settings and everything i should set for a great performance and easy usability.
