All gameloft games such as 'hawx','dungeon hunter','asphalt' can run on the optimus one but the icons, options i.e. the menu and the display appears misplaced and out of proportion due to the smaller screen size of the optimus one. But apart from this you will face no problem in playing other games such as nfs shift, robo defense etc. I have played 'dungeon hunter' on the phone and it runs fine.

Hi
I am unable to browse the web thru WI-FI..even though it shows wi-fi is connected and signal is strong....
if both wi=fi and mobile internet (2G/3G) are available, then O1 uses only mobile internet..2G is very slow and charges also are deducted.
pls tel me how to use Wi-fi?

LG have officially come forward to reassure us that all LG phones that carry the Optimus One branding and are currently on 2.2 Froyo will get the 2.3 update.

see i need one having all the things with good quality like better OS , good fast processor and a great screen type and resolution , and last but certainly not the least a kickass camera ,
i am lovin the desire series from HTC , but they are way over my budget , so please please guide me

m using o/1 n serv provider is vodafone....i badly needs to kno d charges for usin any application dat needs internet...frst day i ws chargd arnd 30rs even wen i dint usd nethin n yestrdy itself i ws chrgd arnd 80rs jst fr 3-4min of internet usage :((
i used to use internet on ma previous phn over same netwrk bt never gt dis typ of heavy deductons...
cn ne1 help me on dis????????????

Are you sure O1 has better battery life than Nokia 5800?? Symbian too is know to have better battery life (depends on model).

I... moreMy dear friend in today's hightech gizmo world you cannot expect device to give you battery backup in days. it is normal to charge your phone everyday. those who don't like charging everyday should not buy Android.
I think my O1 is giving me more backup than my 5800.

@sam: c'mon man we are not provided with a front end facind vga camera, how can you make a video call?? you cannot do a video call from this phone.. if you want to a good phone esp with video call then samsung monte s5620 is too good for it, go for it
@jay: i know man how to send big big videos through mails. just download HJSPLIT from a site it is available everywhere free it is a free ware, and now just split your video files and then mail them, later using the same hjplit you can join the splitted files and can have the original video file. hope you got me, else just message me here again i will let you know.. all the best

navind, 14 Jan 2011Hi All, Seems that SD card removed and installing error ... moreRealy a great phone to use, play and have fun. First Copy all files & folders from the original SD card that you had received with the LG Optimus One while purchase to a computer. Then paste all these files in the new SD card from the computer. Then insert the SD Card to the phone. Of course you need a Sd Card slot in your computer or SD Card Reader for Copy & Paste.
