yes sir it do have multi touch or u can say its a multi taskin phone.
currently m using this phone as well as kp500 cookie..
seriously dis two r the best phn of LG..
m a sony errision fan. but i switch over to lg i think it is beneficial for me

I don't remember the exact steps but this is what i can recollect:Connect the phone to your computer via USB (Before that make sure that the 'mass storage only' mode is unchecked in the phone's settings). Open PC suite->check phone update. Follow the steps as displayed on the screen. First the LG mobile updater will be downloaded. Subsequently, the updates will be downloaded. Just make sure that you don't shut down your phone or escape the update program when the actual update is running otherwise you may lose even the current operating system software. Don't get worried when the phone goes to emergency mode or reboots while updation because it is part of the updating procedure. It will take some time to download the updates. Just have a little patience.

You can view online videos using the browser application 'skyfire'. You can find it at the market. For viewing youtube videos there is a 'youtube' application which comes preloaded in the optimus one.

Use the application NDrive. It works purely on GPS. You just need to download the maps for your city when you first open the application and after that you can use that application without getting charged for that.

sum1 also told me dat installing apps is a problem in o1.....
lg service is pathetic here in india.....
can v ensure sum short of help 4 dis fone.....
d volume controls on d side doesnot works well?????
n also it hangs wen 8gb ext. memory is inserted?????

i am unable to update the firmware program gets stuck during downloading the update then it refuses to do any thing i am still stuck with 10b i have downloaded and installed all ubs drivers and all..dose it require wifi to be present??
kindly let me know a step by step method of updating

1.it dosent have push mail setting the intervals are starting form 5 min onwards
2.i am unable to configure hotmail the option they have while creating account says cnat find incoming server
3.volume of the mail alert is very low and i am unable to find volume control for mail/ringer

hey guyz, well i understand that the smartphone works like the computer i mean there is processor, RAM and all that stuff but cud anyone explain how the feature/java phone works coz there has been much hype about processor speed in gh and the size of RAM in the smartphone field. Does it mean the feauture/java phones does not need RAM and processor to operate? Would appreciate anyones input to help in clarification.

but i can compro... moreI purchased an lg cookie in 2009 and my experience till date is horrible to say the least but when purchasing this phone i thought of giving lg another chance and they haven't disappointed me at all.....I love this device and the touch experience which is far far better than my previous cookie since that was a resistive screen and this is a capacitive screen........
And yes you can install apps on your memory card because it runs on a froyo.......

n i have faced problems with lg fones..n the service is worst....
my frnd has cookie n it also troubles a lot....

guys plz help me.i bought p500 last week it is very good and fast,but past two days when open msg,contacts r any other apps it shws black screen for 3 to 4 seconds then opens and also touch response became slow, this is bcoz any problem in the phone? r i stop any needed service to run this?
2)how to run stopped service which was force killed
