I want to use several programs which require internet connection, but i don't have a wireless router, so i thought i could connect to internet using my PC

Guys try using Launcher Pro, it works smoothly than the built-in LG launcher.
How can we expedite the release of gingerbread to our unit. I can't wait. It is alot faster and better platform!

This is a solid set, yesterday my phone get droped from 1st floor(around 15 ft) but still it is scratch less and in working condition

The unmounting problem is not a software or a hardware problem, it's really the sdcard.
If it was software: it would probably be fixed with the update to 2.2.1 & it wouldn't be fixed with another sdcard.
If it was hardware: it wouldn't be fixed with another sdcard nor 2.2.1 update.
If it was the sdcard itself: it wouldn't be fixed with 2.2.1 and would be fixed with another sdcard. (this is what happens)
Most people i guess are buying the class 4 sd cards whereas I have been told that our optimus one is compatible with class 10 sd cards. Even class 6 sd cards are running smoothly. So it's better to purchase a class 6,8 or 10 sd cards. I use an 8gb sandisk sd card and it runs flawlessly.

Taskiller doesn't work on its own unless and until you go to it and kill it or you have checked the option - 'Autokill when screen off' in the settings of taskiller. But I am not sure whether it will address your 'sd card unmount' problem.

open / launch sms appl, hard menu left button -> select "settings" -> then look for "text message limit", select it and configure for sms and below option is for mms.
