But that would also delete the email account setting and all from gmail and others too...
there is no option like multiple account chat support in same gtalk appl...as i have 3 gmail account configured in gmail appl.
my old blackberry had...it gave user n passwd screen on gtalk appl access after switchon/restart..i tried with unchecking the "Automatically sign in" option aval in settings of gtalk on O1 but no help from it also...
signout also doesnt helps in any scenario...

Browser input was helpful and now i know how to close windows and also to select-copy-paste of texts from sites...in both default android and opera mini browser
i would def try astro appl as suggested...i want to get rid of Bollywoodji...and another thing is on each switchon/restart we have to manually force stop this app
now pls let me know how to stop /deactive taskkiller...also i had included gtalk in its ignore list...how to undo list and stop taskkiller?
also anyidea why am i getting this issue, ravi mentioned similar issue but my phone doesnt freezes or hangs -
"also when phone is accessed after screen out / off...it displays a message in notification area sayin SD card unmounted....then it says SD card mounted back and now accessible something...what is happening.... i have activated Task killer is it due to that?"

@Rakesh - you need a-gprs or edge and setting has to be done in case of airtel or reliance...vodafone does it automatically by service message...my vodafone worked fine...reliance settg was done with help of call center people as Prateek and others have mentioned about APN ... before this settings only browser works no gtalk n gmail n all

CAn anyone please help me how to sign out of GTALK application on this phone, as when i sign out and try to sign in again, it is signed in with the earlier user only and i am not able to sign in gtalk with any other user, i have tried everything from clear data and force close in the settings option, but doesnt help, i will appreiciate if anyone can help me on this

I found the calls on the LG P500 to have a noise in background.
The noise is louder when using Nimbuzz or Skype. Many users have posted about this issue on other sites.
Strangely - not one user has complained here.

GPRS settings:settings->wireless & networks->mobile networks->check the 'data enabled' box->access point names->select the gprs network (for example mobile office in airtel. Make sure that gprs settings are active on your phone. Confirm this from the service provider)Gprs toggle button is the 4th from left in the notification bar.

Use 'astro' file manager for sending music files from your phone. Open astro->long press on the song you want to send->send->bluetooth

Don't use the taskiller as it sometimes kills certain essential applications(like launcher applications) whch are required by the android system to run smoothly. Do it manually by going to settings->applications->manage applications->running->select an application->force stop. 'Force stop' those applications which you have downloaded and are not currently using. You can always see the icons of the applications as well as their labels which will help you to distinguish between the apps which are supposed to be killed and those which are not supposed to be killed.
Whenever you want to exit an application such as the 'browser', make sure you use the hard 'back' button on the phone which will ensure that the app does not keep running in the background after you have exited that application.
Alternatively, you can go to settings->about phone->battery use. Select an application->force stop. It also shows applications which are not running and that will be ensured by the dark grey colour of the 'force stop' button.
