I NEED HELP!
im torn between Nokia C7 and LG Optimus One. im ok with Optimus One's specs although i know that c7's overall specifications are better. the only thing that keeps me from choosing the c7 is the OS. i'd really prefer to have an Android phone.
so what do you guys think? should i stick with LG Optimus One since i'm already ok with what it has to offer? i mean, i dont really need a super hi-end phone or anything. or should i go for the Nokia c7 and just be happy with a Symbian phone?

LG MOBILE UPDATE package should be installed automatically when update is found,Later it will download the OS firmware update and install on Android,follow the process which i have mentioned in earlier posts,
Diff is i disabled Mass storage to reove teh SD CARD on connecting USB,butthat doesnt affect
AND MEMORY CARD ISSUES.
I did not face any problem with mermory card access,hang or slow issues with both V10b and V10c updates,I'm using Transend 8GB class 6 as on cover i have got that info.
AND Downloading apps,
Yes you can download apps of apk to PC and connect android later and transfer files through mass storage to memory card and then install,
I often do this way and find no issues

This phone is great.. I've been using it for two weeks without major major problem..
I have a question.. Using this phone, I can only upload one picture at a time (FB account).. Yeah, I was able to tag multiple pictures/folder but I can't upload it at the same time.. Hitting on back button will just uncheck all selected items.. Is there any application in the A.M. that can tag multiple pictures and upload it in FB? Waiting for your kind response.. Thank u in advance.. ;)

My next question is can i download the appl n games from pc and then copied n installed it in p500??

I see al the gud work u do here and really appreciate it. I was trying to update my optimus one (am in india too) and am receiving error. its like, the pc suite recognises my phone and says there is an update and when i am in the 2nd step (download), it doesnt seem to download anything and keep saying please check your internet connection and try again, though my internet connection is working.. any ideas? did u happen to come across something like this or anybody else?

I compared it to NexusOne which I also tested and I am very impressed of how great Optimus One is. Except the Layar Application which works a little better on Nexus, everything is pretty much the same. I didn't notice the difference between 1Ghz processor from Nexus and the 600Mhz one from LG.
It has a minus though. LG doesn't have the System Updates tag in Settings, so if you want to update, probably you must install a new updated ROM.

Hey Guys,
Seems like I finally found the fix to the phones 'Memory card removed unexpectadly', the phone freezing and not reading mem card apps problem. The phones stock software version is 'V10b', but there is an update 'V10c' available now. Just hook ur phone to ur system, run the lg pc suite, and run the phone update. Once the firmware is updated, these problem should be solved.
I was having these issues since I picked up this phone about a month back. Numerous trips to the service centre, and changing my phone for new pieces twice, I amlost gave up. But this frmware update seemd to have fixed the prob. My phone running wid the new firmware for 24 hrs+, glitch free so far. Fingrs xsed!! Hope this is helpful to all having the same issue. cheers..!!

Aj, 23 Dec 2010Dell xcd35 is same as the optimus one but has 480 x 800 scr... moreyes but c.dell is very new to mobile market and so its not necessary that there services in phone would be as good as there pc or notebook support.secondly i doubt that it has froyo and thirdly and more importantly its really difficult to find any retailer selling a dell phone whereas lg have been in the mobile bussiness in india for quite a while now so i think lg has an edge over dell since many pc making companies such as hp,asus,acer haven't tasted much success with most of there mobiles failing to generate sales.
This is just my opinion......
