Once decided to reboot,do not remove battery or power off as it factory resets software,so it will force restart services,may be that could have messed up services starting
check out firmware version mine is v10b so the service doesnt run
else try to locate serice at SYSTEM\APP->
1)LGMITS.APK
2)LGMITS.ODEX
Try to replace or kill it
there is firware update v10c as stated by another user,try it also so that it might help in fixing or replace services
For SD Card:
Can copy all contents to another sd card by using card reader,
Make sure!!!!!!
ou format your new card first time in android mobile to create its folders by defaylt and then modify you folders and contents accordingly buddy

LG Optimus One FIRMWARE V10c now available.
I updated mine today. It is basically ANDROID 2.2.1 with build no. FRG83 and a New Kernel version dated December 8.
Please update for better performance!!!!!

I want to change to a higher capacity memory card than what lg have given. How can I copy all data/apps to new card without crashing the phone? have anyone put a new memory card in the phone? can you tell me how you transferred the data?

Android cannot see ad-hoc networks as wifi hotspots or access points. So is there a solution for it ? Is there a app which will allow to use internet on phone via ad-hoc network setup on my laptop ? Is there a patch available and is rooting the phone a good option ?

hey, i am trying to connect the phone using LG PC Suite 4 but my contacts/bookmarks/calender doesnt sync.
My video/music/sms gets transfers to PC and they work well. But the contacts don't get sync. I get the error: No response from phone. So what to do in that case ?
Also there is there PC suite mode on the phone ?

Hi Neo,
I just bought O1 last 2 days ago. I love to tweak the phone most of the time and so one day I decided to hard reset the phone by holding the home+power+down vol button.. While I was waiting for the phone to reboot, a robot icon thing and a box with an arrow pointing outwards the box shows but It took a while for the system to perform the reboot so I decided to take off the battery while the phone I still on. I decided to turn it back again and so the usuall thing happened as if its the first time you opened the phone. I guess screwed up the system cause I having this kind of error popping up once in a while on the screen. It says "The application LGMITS Service (process com.lge.lgmits) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."... I dont even know what application that is... I havent opened anything like that.. Could you help me with that? =

One of the Best Android Froyo phone, just got one last December 18, 2010. At first i was so hesitance of buying it because the dummy phone does not have that good screen display, but when i bought it, i was really amazed by the screen display, it is so clear and nice. The unit itself is so fancy, especially the red unit.
I love it so much. The only problem is that, the 2gb microsd is not enough for my phone since it has plenty of free applications from android market. So i have decided to buy the 32gb.
Another thing is that, the phone is not supported by flash 10.1 and divx yet. But so far so good when it comes to playing movies.
The camera itself is so clear during day time and you would not expect that it is from a 3.15 MP camera of LG. The video is average, since it is not that so marvelous.
