ive bought this phone for 4 days already.. and I LOVE IT VERY MUCH!! im from the philippines and i have bought it with 30% discount...
hmmm... i was very satisfied with it.. but i am still observing its battery life.. it only lasts for 24 hours.. i have to charge it every day.. i already have task killer and turned off the 3g network, i was not using wifi often, maybe i just used it for an hour.. is it normal?? how many days does your battery lasts?
and i cant update the firmware via LGmobile support tool!
but overall.. i loved it, especially when i am playing with it, or listening to the music, internet is fast also, and there are lots of applications in the market!!!
i hope i dont have any battery problems...

LG is not a convenient technology. I just bought it and I spend a lot of time to learn how to use it. I still cannot figure out how use PC suit and it does not connected to my PC at all. I feel bored with it and it wastes a lot of time. Touch screen sensitivity is poor is weak point, but it should have a user friendly interface. But now I found that not thing is good, except the price.

demon, 23 Dec 2010i tried to update my fone but it shows some error,,i guess ... moreHi Optimus users,
I had tried teh firmware update(INDIA) and it went fine on my Android,its now Andriod 2.2.1 kernel 2.6.32.9 Build FRG83 Version v10c
Process i followed:
1) connect to LG pc suite
2)phone update
3)PC Suite will detect update and prompt for update
4) LG suite willdownload UPDATE Software
5) IMP!!!!Do not disconnect cable or power off \Drain battery out during this,Else you will lose current OS as well as fail to udpate new one.
6)Check for compatible drivers for USB ,it will prompt to download if missing
7)Click START UPDATING
8)The OS download takes place for 126~ MB it took 10~14 Min for download and update started
9)Do not panic as phone will go to emergency mode\restart as required,so DONOT REMOVE CABLE\POWER OFF
10)Once successful,its asks for exit,remove USB CABLE and POWER ON the OS,intially it will take 3~4 to intialize do not panic and again restart,patience is required to have it successfully done
Hope it helps to update and enjoy the system performance later
AND for NFSSHIFT i excatly do not remember the downloadlink its approx 39~41 MB,search it on PC and then copy to SD CARD to install it
Follow process to install from my earlier post,how to run the game
For GROUP Contacts,
You need have GMAIL ACC and add all required contacts in GMAIL and group it ,then sync for first time using those softwares\apps and later can use it in messaging and phone calls groups.
the process quite diff for Android as i said Andriod doesnthave grouping on base as far as i have seen

Are there any call... moreCall quality is excellent!.. everything about this phone is excellent for this price!..Sometimes it may just show some Lag for 1 sec then it is fine! And What i dint like is that Angry birds Seasons edition gets stuck a lot during explosions and all that! .. battery is Decent..
