i was there in SM Cebu before 10AM. So funny, people are running here and there so I tried to run as well coz I know they'll be buying this phone. Thanks, I got the 21st slot and was able to buy it. Whew!!! Lots of people were there. LG Service was sooooo poor, delaying tactics, they need to have the demo first before getting the product which really occupy more time and more buyers not to get it. I guess they were able to serve 25 people only. It was 2:50 and still I was waiting for my turn... I almost lost hope of getting it. So tired of waiting 4 hours!!!... I'm testing the unit now, hope it's worth the wait... so sad for other Cebuanos really... but they promised to give 200 more units with discounted price... but not 50% anymore :(

For those who keep on complaining on the promotion, it means only one thing, you woke up late and you didn't make it. Accept it na hindi ka nakabili. Bitter lang ung mga nagrereklamo dian. Try your luck next time.

Seriously, stop venting out here. What did people expect with a 50 % off 1 hr only. It was obviously a promotional gag. Even if they moved slowly, it couldn't have been more than 20-30 phones sold in that time.
Get a life, if your time is worth more than 6k you should have known it better.

what happened should be a lesson to be learned not only by consumers but by l.g. mgt as well. i was in mega mall at around 12pm for the promo and indeed devastated that even lg staff assured that each one can avail and get that 50% off froyo phone as long as on queue. no one monitors the line, actually. they also said optimus 1 is unlimited. that so tricky. truth should have been divulged to the poor public as early as possible; that only 50 units will be available. i even asked 1 staff if it is worth to fall in line; at least not to waste time. she affirmed and even said we will get phone the sooner. isn't that deceiving? this is a lesson for l.g.- u should organize well your promos and adequately inform the public about the real score. be fair and respectful to the public who will patronize ur products; otherwise, an email brigade of boycott or anymeans will ruin your yet to be established reputation. be cautious and prudent next time. good management is the key.

It was hell in SM Megamall. only 10 tickets where give to the first 10 who fall in line... and they are in the line at around 930am inside the mall and the mall is not opened yet! Mall opened at 10am. Almost 500 people went to that pitt hole... everyone was hungry, angry and shouting at LG staff after the event. they tricked us! they have used us for their false advertisement... I hate what they did!!

nokia sm north have mention around 60 unit c6 will release in hour total 120units in 2hrs, and extend a minutes to finish all units.LG approx 300 stand people releasing more than 20 units in 1hr.WAT A FOOL LG!!!.

the true price of the phone is the sale gimmick of 6,490 pesos.
i do not agree to buying this at the bloated 12,900 price.
only a fool would buy this piece of junk for twice the actual price.
pinoys would be crazy to fall for lgs ploy!

LG Sucks. Epic Failed event. unorganized. the 1 hr sale was only for the people inside the store.
Limited units but on advertisement no mention whatsoever.
Customers very angry to the point of suggesting to boycott LG - Life's good.
Looks like a publicity scam.

WOW. We are fooled by LG. I spent 6 hours of my time for nothing! A stampede was about to occur in SM North Edsa and yet LG has no consideration for us, desperately waiting in line! Curse LG!

I even took pictures with my cellphone of the spectacle. That's how funny and sad the whole LG affair was. It was sheer torture for the Cebuanos.
