i have put the sim card from my previous phone.at the beggining everything was okey until i closed it.then when i opened it it closed the sim card on its own and told me tha the android wasn't working????????????

My o1 is 30 days old. made in india august 2011 manufactured. within i month dust is there in the screen.

See i have been using t... moreur getting 1 day while u travel...its a nyc battery backup..coz while u travel the cell radio tries to get the signal from network..squeezing most out from ur battery..
Calibration:
first plug in ur charger while it shows red.then charge it completely.use it till the mobile gets switched off..then plug in the charger again (while in switch off mode) and charge it completely until it shows green..then switch on n use...
repeat the charge n discharge cycle for around 3 times whenever ur free..but do atleast once a week..then ur battery will definitely shows some improvement
Reverting to froyo:
u can do this in two ways..but flashing through kdz is a risky process than flashing through recovery.first of all dload the firmware.google it u can find the procedure in both ways
but to flash through recovery first u need to root ur phone n install ROM MANAGER.its available in market(watch the video in its thread). this is the easiest way to flash a ROM(firmware).
if u find the manual calibration a tough job to do..there are apps in market which automatically calibrate ur battery and clean ur batterystats.bin file n replace it with newer one(u need root to install those apps)
and while i did the search over internet there are no posts for rooting of v20c.i mean i dont know whether the superoneclick works or not.but i guess it should work.i never tried.
Reverting back to froyo is a big mistake according to me.coz the performence doubles in GB when compared to Froyo.guess u have seen the quadrants of both ROMs.n i think battery backups are not a big issue coz android is a battery s**ker.

See i have been using this phone since May 2011...Till I have updated to GB i used to get 3 days battery backup.Upgraded to GB V20b it reduced to 1 to 1.5 days max...Then updated to GB V20c initially there was some battery improvement but now its giving only 1 days max...(specially while travelling)
what do u mean by calibration how can i do that?
to degrade to froyo what should i do?I mean the safest way not risky KDZ(I do not wanna brick my phone)
Guys anyother solutions?

One useless phone. I bought one in April 2011 and by August the thing had already "proximity failure". The technicians in the LG shop in Kenya could not resolve the problem.

just update it to v20c..it gives u a nice battery backup..
but if ur on v20c..then just calibrate it..even if u find no use of calibration then there is some problem with ur battery...
nd yes u can downgrade to froyo...but froyo's performance is far less than GB..
even if u wanna downgrade use flashing through mobile thats the easy way than kdz updater

why? because of this following reviews:
1. optimus one beats fit, mini, in screen resolution a lot since it supports 320x480 unlike the two with 240x320. but if you want dull and unattractive screen though, i recommend fit and mini.
2. autofocus! the other choices you have doesnt have this but optimus one carries it! this means it can capture more detailed pix than the other choices.
3. battery backup...lg always win in this area.
4. style and design awesome on optimus while the others are more like corby which is not a compliment.
5. they all support 600mhz cpu processor
6. upgradable to 2.3 gingerbread
7. big internal memory
8. and many more!!
i'll leave you the decision!
