hi guys I have lg optimus vu 2 f200. I checked my message using go sms and then there's a pop out message that prompt says something like error and I tried to reboot my phone and its stock up to lg logo. can anyone help mr please

hello guys i am having an issue with my lg vu2 i rebooted my phone after that it doesnt turn on i tried it turning on its showing LG logo after that it shows "Security Error" and then power off
can any body give me suggestions of hard reset?

Did root your phone?? Make it stock it will work.. I have same issue i fixed it by making it stock

AnonD-306356, 12 Sep 2014Is it really necessary to root my phone after upgrading it ... moreHi Tessabells, as i have used few lg vu2 devices, rooting will allow you to clean the bloatware that comes with it and install a custom recovery image and custom rom. But if you are just the average user and not familiar with rooting and custom roms and doesnt want to avoid the warranty then stick with stock. Original lg stock Kitkat works smooth on these devices. Good luck

Hi to all, i have used couple of these devices and i have to say, over all is a good phablet- phone tablet if i can call it. Model F200S works smooth on latest lg stock 4.4.2. And it can be rooted with towel root as it has been mentioned in here. It is a temp root you gain so after reboot your device become unrooted again. Once you get root you can clean the unwanted bloatware with apps on play store as , Titanium, Uninstaller etc. The F200L has the latest kitkat too, but you get the annoying msg on dialer *call to korea call to local* and 80 character limits on sms which can be fixed downgrading the phone on 4.1.2 JB and installing a custom rom from LG viet site or other korean and vietnamese website, use chrome to translate. I havent been able to find a working CWM custom recovery for 4.4.2 kitkat stock firmware. Theres cwm only for 4.1.2 around. Also i havent been lucky downgrading F200L to 4.1.2, i got a boot loop after installing the kdz, i have to try again and i will let you know , if anybody had success on removing *dial to korea, dial to local msg* please share it. Thanks in advance
