oreo update for india is realsed everything is good after update but what made lg to drop cast screen or screen share option from update. this is where handset is out of compition lg you ****.

At last got an update to 8.1.0 today. With the OS, LG did made many more changes which are impressive & I'm loving it. Bought it right after 4days of it's availability & been using since 1 year now. ( No complaints so far )
Changes I figured out with the update :
New camera UI with new full vision resolution mode ( other options are similar )
DTS X 3D sound mode, Equilizer & music Flash light mode has been added to the Music app.
Navigation bottons panel has a hidden button to manually hide the panel & should swipe up from bottom to get it back.
New keyboard, new emojis.
Accessibility mode & shortcuts when triple pressed on home button (should activate first from settings).
New settings menu.
Swipe down to search menu from home screen.
Extra options for comfort view settings.
Updated icons & themes
Updated Game mode.
Improved RAM management.
Smoother UI with quick response.
New Battery saver mode ( 3 modes with time )
These are the things I came through since update. Any more changes please post them. Thank you.

Service is poor. i will make sure no one can opt for this phone in my circle. because in case if service is required there is no option other than suffering.

I'm sure my next phone won't be an LG device and I also will ensure that none of my friend or family member ever gets an LG branded phone.

Mobile getting automatic turn off, used Delete repeated word+power button for 10 seconds but issues is often persist.
Bad experience with LG Q6 ****

Anyone in the Philippines receive the 8.1 update? It's getting frustrating to see every other country get it while we suffer. LoL

From what I've found on the web it's a known issue.

SS, 05 Sep 2018Got Oreo 8.1 today in Canada. Cell signal is worse now. ... moreYou sure it's just not your phone? My signal is the same as android 7.1.1 I'm implying that the signal is good. My model is m703 also running 8.1.0 and I've had the phone since it came out

I got android 8.1 for my lg q6 m703 'bout 4 days ago and the dts x audio is amazing. After this update i think the q6 is complete in my opinion

Finally i'm back to J5 Prime
My J5 Prime camera more better.. no overheating.. and fingerprint more fast to unlock
