This is worst phone I have ever had. The back button almost never works, the home button often doesn't work. It jumps all around, when I first open up never know screen it will be on. It could be an I haven't used since I can't remember. You might say it must be me, but have never had any other phone act this way. It's also very slow. Added SD card, it didn't help, can't move anything to it very easily. It generally sucks!

TL;DR: for it's price point it's overall subpar, even though it's body is soild. It has received timely OS patches, and I did just receive a full OTA update to Android 10.

OS patches were timely and seamless. I don't know if this because of LG or my carrier (I have Xfinity/Comcast).

I wouldn't recommend this phone if you need something with more processing power, it will sometimes respond slowly under heavy useage. The phone can be sluggish under the heavy animations some FPS-sytles games, although it can handle PUBG and War Robots enough unless there loads of fire being drawn on the screen. The built in gaming app does allow for enough tweaking to offset this a bit.

The volume level of both the speaker and the "earpiece" for calls could be louder, but even with a cheap bluetooth or wired headset headset it's more then passable. It has DTS:X that greatly improves this.

Screen brightness could also be better. Screen size is fine.

The phone is very thin and light, but doesn't flex so it's physical construction is good. I've dropped it a few times on tile having butterfingers, but outside of marks on the edges where it impacted it's fine... no cracks.

Camera could also be better, if you don't have a stable hand then you are going to have blurry photos. Flash is alright.

Generally, it could make a decent second phone if you buy it used.

This is by far the worst phone I've ever had in my entire life; even worse than the LG Stylo 4. They just sent me the five to replace the four that obviously broke , and this one went black screen in four months time. And because I just made a claim for the LG they will not replace it with a new one. What's the point in having insurance for a crappy phone if they won't replace it every time it

Had this phone over a year. I love it. The features are great. Camera. Video. Note pad. I've always liked LG but the LG stylo 5 is great. Screen size is huge and clear. If anything happens to this I will replace with another stylo 5.

I have made a terrible mistake in purchasing this phone. It is difficult to operate. And seems to have a mind of its own. Keeps changing settings to allow information to the public.
Will be buying Samsung from now on..

This has been the worst phone ive ever used. Talking on speaker phone hangs up in middle on conversation. The camera is blurry and is the slowest phone i have owned which includes phones that are less expensive. From out of the box it was slow. Connected to wifi is even slow. I have best package comcast offers and the phone is SLOW. Response times when typing or moving between screens is slow. Stylus falls out all the time. Im wondering at this point if phone is lemon? I got it two weeks after it came to market. Also the carrier i went though had so much already downloaded on it that i have 4 gigs of space i can use. Its a 32 gig phone with 4 i can use? What is wrong with this picture. Sorry to rant but when you wait on hold for an hour and the phone hangs up everytime you talk you get frustrated. Im shocked LG put this out.

Everything Is Fine Except For The Calls No One Can Hear Me When I Call I can hear everyone else clearly so I know it's not the service the phone is a bit laggy not the best on memory but I was on a budget so that's understandable but overall experience is positive just can't deal with no one being able to hear what happens when there's a emergency what am I supposed to do text the police station which yes you can do but it requires a lot of steps to go into your phone and send the message not everyone is looking to talk to the police at a moment's notice so anyway this phone is kind of a inconvenience

Just because iphone and Samsung sell their phones for 700 to 1000 dollars doesnt not mean their product is that much more amazing. Cracks me up when people think because they pay a fortune for a brand name it makes it better. It really doesnt.

Loved my lg stylo 4. Lg stylo 5 dont let you move any apps to free up space. No options for that at all. Also cannot block unknown callers not in contacts like the 4 did. I have to manually key and numbers I want to block because I get a lot of robocalls spam calls I have to block them one by one this is a ridiculous phone I wish I never spent $300 on. Lost a customer .this is my very last stylo. I do not recommended. And Do your due diligence and super research next phone choice that it does everything you need it to do before buying and look up all reviews.

This phone sucks big time, bring back my flip phone any day. Operation is NOT intuitive, it has a mind of it's own and frequently goes off into la la land just when you need to be hitting a particular key to voice mail etc. These "phones" are so intent on being an almighty computer that they forget how to be a phone. Didn't have that problem with my SAMSUNG flip phone.

I got an LG Stylo 5 as a "cheap" phone for work. I will never veer from Samsung again. It literally takes 5 seconds to close the email app after hitting the close button. It lags in all functions. Most of the time when I bring up the internet its a blank screen and I have to close it and reopen it but again lags about 5-7 seconds to respond to my touches. Worst functioning phone I ever had but can't get my money back so I'm stuck with it.

Does not support any type of screen cast. Even type C to hdmi direct wired. Also doesnt allow you to move app to external storage.
