This is absolutely the worst phone I have ever owned in my entire life. There is not enough room and there's not enough time in the world for me to be able to explain how many things irritate me or piss me off completely about this phone. I don't know how many times I've wanted to smash it I actually went out and bought a hard case for it just in case I actually did throw it. So far only twice. I bought my girlfriend and myself both one and paid almost $600 for both so I believe in the back of my head that's why I haven't smashed his phone so far so I'm just here to tell you if you want to keep your sanity and one piece not ever buy this phone. Okay and if you happen to not get my point I'll say one more time this phone is trash I would rather try to send messages and text and everything else on a piece of freaking paper through Western Union before I even want to go and use this phone anymore.

This phone is garbage. It constantly needs rebooted and an occasional factory reset doesn't even help. It's an absolute falure and I hope everyone on the design team gets cancer.

Now after 6 months the microphone doesn't work when using the speaker phone. When contacting the lg joke customer service they want you to send your phone in for warranty repair. Which means you'll easily be without your phone for 30 days. When more than likely the failure is probably a software error of some kind. It seems that while in warranty their warranty department should try to work with you in solving the problem without the inconvince of returning the phone to them for every problem. They don't even try. What a customer unfriendly company. I worked as a purchasing director for a fortune 500 country and recognize poor customer service and believe me lg is the perfect example of very poor customer service actually lacking of any type whatsoever.

Jim, 23 Dec 2020Did you try holding the power and volume up/down buttons do... moreI have had the same exact problem and if you hold the vol down button and power button down for about 5-10sec it will come back on and work. I keep having problems with my phone doing this every time I plug it in it seems like now but I just hold the buttons down and it comes back on.

I love this phone and I have had many apple and Samsung phones and this one is better than them all but the only thing I wish it had was slow mo video

I've been apart of the LG family for many years and I've also been a part of the Stylo as well I purchased this Stylo 6 and it seemed like the minute I purchase it and took it home I was having problems with it I had almost a year the body and everything is still in good shape but the brain is no good I continue to have to shut my phone down and rebooted hoping that my Wi-Fi I will act accordingly I must say I am not satisfied with this phone is long and skinny I don't like it it seems like they only make these phones nowaday the last for a little while so that you can run back to the store and buy another one I cannot stand this phone as far as the camera goes it's horrible

Stylo6 is the worst LG I’ve ever owned.LG was my favorite phone until now THE KEYBOARD MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO USE.AFTER 12 YEARS OF LG IM SWITCHING TO APPLE. It’s hard to believe my older LG phones had wider keyboards than this piece of JUNK. People don’t need long or skinny keyboards that is why there are no apps for HOW CAN I MAKE MY KEYBOARD SKINNIER.

We've had the LG stylo 6 for a couple of months now and we recently had Verizon wireless as our carrier however due to bills overlapping each other when we are on a tight budget as it is we had to go ahead and withdraw from Verizon and go to Cricket. If we had the money we would have gotten the Apple iPhone even though I'm not an iPhone fan but this phone absolutely sucks ass I cannot explain how much it lagseven when trying to enter in information on website it takes forever for the keyboard to pop up and my calls constantly drop.

I had the phone less than 3 months before I had trouble with it losing my homr Wifi connection. I have to restart the phone multiple times s day in order to reconnect to my Wifi. Also, my screen will remain on low power when it is supposed to be asleep charging. I called my new cell service provider, Boost Mobile, only to find out I have to deal directly with LG for the warranty! Usually phone companies deal with issues so long as the warranty is in place. Furthermore, LG expects me to mail them the phone and will take weeks to send it back to me! What am I supposed to do for a phone in the meantime??? I am.going to dump this turkey ASAP in favor of an iPhone.

The worst phone...ever! For years I had Samsung phones and after my last Samsung flew off my car on the freeway...I went to the store to purchase a new Samsung. The cost was ridiculous and I chose the LG v20. It was a fabulous phone for the money. It didn't everything my Samsung could do...but better and for a lot less. So, when my LG v20 went for a deep dive into the Pacific Ocean...I thought I'd buy another LG. My mistake with not sticking with the v series. The Stylo 6 is a pain in the ass with the quick notes feature which CAN'T be deleted. The swype function doesn't work and the camera is terrible. The only positive function is the battery works well. I NEED A NEW PHONE! Don't buy this POS.

These lag related complaints on here are valid, keep that in mind! I hate to say we're gonna be taking it back and getting something else cuz we've been on the stylos for a few years. If it wasnt for the lag it's a really nice looking phone.

LG is a major cell phone manufacturer.
Not only do they make phones for themselves but they make them for others.
If they made phones as easily broken as you describe, they would not have lasted a year, but they are still going strong, and their business is growing.
Like any major manufacturer, LG stands behind its products. If they learned that one of their phones was that poorly made they would want to know about to make it good with you and learn what the hell went wrong.
The fact that you just accepted it is all the proof anyone needs that either you bought a counterfeit phone and knew it or simply made up your review because you work for another company as a paid troll.

Disappointed again, 29 May 2020The last Stylo that was feature generous was the Stylo 4 an... moreI could have written what you did. In fact I did on another website. When it comes to the changes in the stylo line, ever since the 4 it's been steady loss of features and downgrades in processing ability to keep the price point low.
I guess they assume if you buy a stylo the only thing you care about is that it is cheap.
I liked it (4 and prior) because it offered a great value and was affordable.
With each feature they eliminate they have eliminated some of that value and now with the 6 LG simply produces a laggy, cheap phone with sub-ordinary features that definitely is NOT anything exceptional. Sure it has a stylus, but unless that is backed up by decent specs. it's not enough reason to keep buying the latest version.
In fact the regular reduction in features is a good reason NOT to upgrade, because other than the Android operating system, going from a 4 to a 6 is actually a downgrade in terms of features and capabilities of the phone. I should have seen this coming though considering the step from 4 to 5 didn't add anything to the phone, and only took away!
Sure they added more camera oomph with some models of the 6, but with the reduction in overall phone capability it's no surprise no one talks about it. A decent camera requires decent specs. to perform well, and the LG Stylo is now simply a cheap phone with a stylus that can't take advantage of the extra lenses.
Like you, unless LG fixes the mistakes they made with the 5 and 6, I'll be looking at another company for my next phone. I was ready to buy the newest Stylo, but was so disappointed that I held off and instead started to investigate options to get to replace my 4 in case the 7 shows LG is determined to turn the Stylo into a nothing phone. Like you I don't mind paying a couple of hundred extra for a good phone with a stylus.

On my phone the data mobile is terrible. I have unlimited internet service and it could be hours with no internet service. I have gone to the office and have called 611 for service and to solve the problem. And the problem is solve only for a few munutes. And rbe phone calls they don't listen to me and I hear only echo and static. I wish they coyld fix the problem. Today is 16 days that I purchase the phone.
